She went to the Japanese version of Juliard. She played piano for years until she became interested in guitar, acoustic guitar too.

@@LucisFerre1 Only MISA and Akane went to musical schools (Tokyo School of Music), the rest of the band are playing music for a long of time but didn't have that academic training, Miku took interest in music and singing on her childhood because her grandmother (she brought Miku to enka performances with her) and she said that she was learning to play piano in her childhood but dropped the lessons because her teacher was very strict, and lastly a lot of us know that she was an idol for some time too; Kanami plays the piano since her childhood and plays the guitar since high school because she thought some of her classmates were cool and she wanted to be cool (God bless Mincho and her unique mind haha), she actually has a degree in Economics because her parents wanted that she has a more traditional career...and Saiki took interest in music on her childhood too because her mother took her with her to some karaokes because she didn't want to be alone and she was a back up dancer and expected to be an idol like Miku.

And she's doing it. She's made phenomenal progress in such a short time, so she really does fit in. I don't think she has to be at Kanami's level to be an outstanding guitarist or else there would be very few outstanding guitarists in the entire world. The parts they play are different, anyway...and both are needed.

Miku was the lead vocal, but she is the one who realized that her vocal was not powerful enough to make the Band-Maid image that she was trying to create. So she went out and recruited Saiki into the band.

From what I’ve seen in interviews, Akane the drummer wanted Miku to play guitar to add a fuller sound live so Kanami (lead guitar) started teaching her. Miku thought having a second vocalist would sound cool (plus singing while playing is hard as fuck when you start out) so they auditioned a bunch of singers and liked Saiki the best even though she had never been in a band and hadn’t really performed anywhere. Saiki is actually the least experienced from what I understand with Miku having previously been in an idol group that when nowhere. I may have watched a fuck ton of interviews with them.

So dope! All these girls are so talented.

I respect any musician who does that in order for their vision to be the best it can be.

It had a high view count as well. The version shown here is same one as prior taken down one and is from their Shinkiba Studio Coast concert. I know because I have the blu-ray. The audio is wrong though.

(lead vocals) Some will probably disagree with me regarding the pronunciation!

Well, not just for this song. Saiki claimed at the interview about world domination that she's really got emotional and awkward after any gig or concert. So she always gone first. But she's trying to not done that at recent concert, world domination. And yes, fans that come to that concert realized that Saiki could cried. Lol

@@dicodec All the keyboard/synth parts are done by Kanami. She started to play piano at the age of 3, and switched to guitar rather late, only when she was 12 (she said, to impress the girls in the class 😅). Her parents did not believe she could make a career in music, and requested her to go to university first. She complied and got a degree in economics. But she has proven to them that she is, first and foremost, a musician, and now she is the main composer and a melodic backbone of the best rock band in the world. Instead of another mediocre economist, we've got a world-class guitarist 🤘

See the thing is, this is a sad heart wrenching song done to Fast paced Power rythm. If you here the live acoustic it's slowed and you really feel the way it's supposed to go from the lyric standpoint and you get to hear Kanami do some sweet backing vocals too!!!! 😉
