It’s song like this that remind you that Saiki is as insanely talented as the bands musicians are.

Not just one of my favorite BAND_MAID songs, but one of my all time favorites of all time.

A showcase for Sai-Chan, doesn't get the recognition it deserves ( imo) Such a great performance all around.

When B-M played Line Cube Shibuya the white rabbit was seen in the streets of Tokyo shouting "I'm late, i'm late, for a very important date". He missed them play Wonderland.😔

Wonderland electric version is a great progy, jazz rocker with touches of funky elegance wrap around a mid-tempo, storytelling, epic soundscape. In other words, as Ryan Mear and Chase put it, ”Band-Maid doing Band-Maid things!” As for the acoustic version... lets see anyone try to pull that off without getting yanked off the stage.🪝😵‍💫

Welcome to the Saiki & Misa Show! :) If there is anyone who doubts the importance of these two to this band, this song should put them all to rest. To my shame, I was also one of those who were so taken by the instruments in the beginning that I hardly paid attention to Saiki. It was this song that truly opened my eyes. I'm so glad that you have fallen into this habit of doing double song comparisons. It's always great to see in the one reaction. Two things that really stand out for me in this song. #1. In the electric version, it always warms my heart when Kanami adopts that stance all hunched over the guitar with her head dropped & jus bopping away in her own little world. From about 4:20. #2 How perfect and crystal clear Saiki's vocals are in the acoustic. The pure quality of her as a performer. Of course, the sheer brilliance of Misa and Kanami in the Acoustic version goes without saying.

This one really floored me. So interesting how they took a proggy jazzy song where everyone is going full bore and rearranged it for acoustic trio. Saiki gets even more focus; the instrumental counterpoint leans heavily on MISA; and Kanami captures the overall mood in the major/minor changes & finger-picking.

This live version is shear genius and is in my top 5 songs- Go Saiki, what a vocal performance. I've said it before. If Saiki sang in English she would be internationally famous for these performances.

I think Mincho completely changed the chord structure for the acoustic version.

Mate! Greetings under torrents of rain interrupted by blistering heat again! Two main points as far as the live concert piece goes: -Saiki is demonstrating for once that she can master falsetto without a hitch, expanding once again her vocal scope. -Kanami is on a constant solo, and by the end of the song is gone into one of her typical comfort zone, that is head down and slowly dancing back and forth. Almost 4 years later, Saiki is showing her enormous progress and is bound to explore new dimensions. A girl who who had to take a lot of criticism at the beginning of her career is now kicking the doubters into oblivion. Kanami is being Kanami, no need to say more. On the hand, Misa is quietly breaking the house, reminding everyone that her musical education was mainly jazz. But she adds so much personal touch that it becomes a genre of her own.
