Looks nice! So different than original concept but also so much in line with Blades.

I find it interesting that this modern incarnation of rpg stretches to accommodate war gaming en masse. Because that sort of gaming is what launched TSR. We get to experience the best of both worlds in Band of Blades!! RPG have come a loong way! Tip 'o the Hat to Stras Acimovic! "TALK SHIT AND ROLL CRITS!" Funny enough as soon as I heard of the premise of the game I had thought "That sounds like the black company" You're review confirmed it. I went out and grabbed it immediately.

You should take a look at Karma in the Dark. It's a very cool Forged in the Dark fantasy cyberpunk rpg inspired by Shadowrun.

I would prefere a more middle age/dark age setting instead of the renaissance, steampunk-like stuff. Battle Brothers (the computer game) could also a great inspiration.

Am I crazy or the logo is using the original font for Blades in the Dark?

You're correct. John updated and modernized blades, but it's actually a font from an old holy text that someone digitized, and I thought it had the right flavor for Band and stylistically tied the two in my mind even more ^_~ Good eye.
