For #3 (Robo Final Boss from MS4) It's actually easier to dodge the 5-laser attack if you position yourself right after the first two vertical lasers, jumping the shockwave also makes it a lot easier. You just need to be alert once that attack sequence starts.

....... so i played the MS4 last boss with quick reactions for the last 8 years and managed to do a no hit run and at the end those side lasers and bouncy lasers are fixed and not random......... now I'm going sit on a chair for 5 minutes. Nice video btw

Surprised this video doesn't include the most broken bug in MSX. Get a new special weapon while in any slug. Then manually eject from the slug, keep holding DOWN button. You're invincible now until you stand up.

In mslug 1, if you move slowly into one of those enemy suplier vehicles for troops transport, if could receive damage but NEVER explodes. Waiting for near the time over, you will rewarded with lots of points on that way. In mslug 2 or 4, is easy to make chikens appear and shot or open they box propperly avoiding them, for do they will go to the oppose site of the screen. Then, wait for chickens put their eggs and wait on the left,.firing if chikens move.too close to you. You will make a whole farm of.chikens and win 500 for every one you get waiting on the left before the time over force you to get out of there and move. In post office on mslug 1, up there is a window. Open it. A civilian doesnt look scared. If you look him carefully, his hand are taking something down that looks like a HEAD. Felatio programmers joke!? Thats what i think. Others civilians run scared. Look carefully to him, and say me im wrong... 😅😂

That last boss on MS3 really pissed me off because it was at the end of that already ridiculously long level, then on top of that I had the Xbox version which gave you extra game modes if you be it and I could never get that final boss! I wish I've known that trick earlier. Good stuff

You should make one about gneral tips (tips that apply for any game in the saga) like the most important and obvious, you shoot faster when crouching. And i-frame abuse (from mounting/dismounting vehicles). Also most of time it's no necessary to kill all enemies to progress.

I think you already know this but anyways: -Shot while duck is more quicker than shot standing up (manually speaking) -You can cancel your knife animation with other knife animation if you switch facing, very useful with little spiders in final mission of MS3, and final boss for points, since each knife attack gives 500 pts instead of 100 per weapon shot -MS1 you also can kill Oneill with only knife, literally standing in middle of his body and jumping to avoid his melee attack, this was fixed in the nexts MS since then he also jump and melee if you try this again -MSX You can get to the boss of mission 5 (the submarine) with 3 walker-slugs, if you know where stop and advance with the character instead than the slug, then just when you see the "foot" of the other slug grab the other and advance with the two (enter one advance a little then leave and grab the other and repeat), repeat this in the end when you get to the upper part and you get with 3 slug, sadly the game only counts one for the points if you destroy the boss riding one -MS3 SolDeRokkie (mask boss mission 4) can be nullified if when he shot the wolfs, you attempt to jump like if you want to kill yourself in one side of the screen but then back, if your timing is ok, one of the wolfs go straight to the pit, and since he dont find the floor to explode, he start to do spins in the air infinitely, and since his attack never ends (the wolf never explode), he don't make ANY other attack and you can just simply go and shoot him, the boss still moving, but never attack you, sometimes there is a veeeery tiny time when the wolf after some time manages to explode or go down and the boss start attacking again. If you manage to get there with the shotgun Sol dies with all shotgun shots even in lvl 8 -Ms3 Save Laser, instead of just shot like crazy, shots in intervales, every time you stops pressing the shot button the laser still manage to do damage but his ammunition is not depleted -Ms1 in the final mission when you get to the vulcan fixed in the submarine (the fallen bridge part) when the helicopter comes to bomb you, you can avoid him just jump in and out in the vulcan, when you get to the parts of the bridge when a tank comes to drop trash on you, from the vulcan just jump and try to "touch" the tank, if is made right the invulnerable animation make you jump all over the tank, making go to the Metal SLug in the end of the screen waaay more accessible

También hay un exploit en Metal Slug 5: en una de las rutas habrá dos Ptolemaicos con hachas en la parte superior. Mata a todos, menos a cualquiera de los dos y sólo usa el cuchillo con él. No le harás daño, pero recibirás puntaje por cuchillada (500pts), y se logra más rápido si eres gordo. Puedes hacer esto hasta que se acabe el tiempo, pues el guardia no se moverá ni el juego avanzará hasta que lo mates por armas o bombas.
