Nice, they only focus in specific changes instead move all the game like anothers hacked rooms. I saw some things: 3:00 That SV001 doesn't have a real porpuse there, and breaks level continuity For Stone turtle, it would be good to have a reason to move around it, i mean, to have a more dynamic battle. About Ptolemaios, i think he has much HP, his battle was a bit larger than i thought. also his stones falls too fast, maybe give a larger time bewteen each stone would be better, and definitely it will be good to reset the timer when you change to the Final Boss. Anyway, i know most of these come for game limitations, but guess something can be made.

Update: From the footage i saw on the playthough of this by Topeng, not only the Turtle and the leader are added, but also unused areas and enemy rearragements in some missions. Though it needs some work (specially the transition to the Mission 4 boss, a bug when you defeat one of the elephants in the last mission, more attacks for the leader and the time reset when you approach the final boss), i can safetly say that they are doing the best they could to restore it to its original intent.

I didn't know that Metal Slug 5 was rushed, with this ROM hack, the scrapped content is now in this game! Now it looks more challenging and fun at the same time! Ptolemaios transforming into The Avatar of Evil makes more sense than just summoning it from the Cultist's worshipping. Now I wish that SNK would remake all the Metal Slug games again with the scrapped content they hidden from us for so many years.

Yeah I liked the idea of what metal slug 5 was going for since our heroes had to deal with a cult that somehow stole blue prints for their metal slug tech and it was interesting having to fight metal slugs for once. Shame a lot of the extra content got cut

Really wish 5 would have gotten the official X treatment, it deserved to be "Double X" more then 7 ever did. Two additions/changes I would still like to see, wasnt there suppose to be a fight against that slug you use in the final mission in the subway? Like I know you pilot it, but I also recall there was suppose to be a fight against one also. Another change I would make, which idk if this was the intent originally, or was something added in the Metal Slug Attack phone game, but I think the elephant boss was suppose to be on top of the back of the turtle mech, which this one kinda does if the implication is that the entire segment after the turtle is in the tower on top of it, but I think then the turtle boss should be sized a bit more up to account for this.

I didn't even know that Metal Slug had I-frames on certain animations (i.e exiting a vehicle), thats pretty cool.

Probably he could have saved some more super grenades and cannon shots to defeat the boss quicker and prevent that time over death. But a part from it that was very impressive!
