Tim when I was young I worked for bandit. We used to use a lot of marine Grease. Because the pine and everything don't stick to it. Just try it out. 👍

I feel your pain. I just spent 2 days working on a piece of equipment that I haven’t used in 2 years just so I knew it was perfect before putting back in storage. 😂

I'm with you. I have a recording studio and if something isn't working right, I can't hardly even sleep til it's fixed.

Good evening. Have you thought about a winch cover to extend life of synthetic line.? Not poking/ stirring the pot.

You really ought to have the clutch engaged when you're running the engine for any length of time. You'll ruin the throw out bearing if not - this is per Bandit instructions. My buddy learned this the hard way $$$

The clutch was engaged my friend.

@@cotontop3 Copy that. At 3:28-3:30 it looked like it wasn't. Cheers though

When u release the winch, it disables the feed rollers on mine. Safety feature.
@corywadedavis Жыл бұрын
@@cotontop3 I realize that. Just saying that at 3:28 the clutch handle is down. On my 2016 1390xp, when the clutch handle is down like that, it means it's disengaged. Clutch handle at about the 12 o'clock position means it's engaged.

Did u mod your own winch to fold backwards and out of the way on this machine recently? I saw it on one of your vids it was cut and fabbed to fold back!? I need that thing outta the way! But don't want to ditch it completely! Teach me . Thanks. Later tater. Huge fan....

I am looking at getting a 15” chipper this year. Have you been pleased with yours, and what HP would you recommend? I currently run a 13” Altec disc style chipper with a Kohler 74 HP Diesel engine in it.

What weight rating is that winch, Tim? Nearly 200 foot of rope is a good length, I was thinking of the work it takes to pull that free wheeling, out to go fetch a log or such.
@cotontop3 Жыл бұрын
8k pull

@@cotontop3 Thanks for this, and I did lose the guess as I was thinking around 10,000 pounds, but then again I didn't know the diameter of the rope either. I imagine then, that the Bandit is always attached to a vehicle when in use?

No he is not. Working for himself full-time now.
