Yes, Kak Mariam is right! He knew he will not be able to win his case and will have to go into prison. He is scheming and changed tactics. He portrayed as if he was unfairly treated by the Federal Court. He will use this reason to get pardon from the Yang DiPertuan Agung later on. Scheming person is revengeful person and doesn’t have a good heart. Scheming person is selfish. Scheming person doesn’t make a good leader. When he is in prison, leave him alone and let him do self-reflection. As a common people we have to move on and continue to build this country to a greater height.

Praying every day that the judges make the obvious decision. On another note, the mask of righteousness that Zaid wears has been destroyed along with his reputation; a big fall from grace. Moving forward, Malaysia as a nation sorely needs a total political re-set which should include Malaysians of ALL races, in order for it to again prosper and to effectively compete economically, at least with other nations in the region, if not with the rest of the world! The brain drain that started in the late 80s and early 90s (and I was one of those) has continued till these days and will continue until and unless these corrupt politicians are put behind bars.
