It’s crazy to see Tom Hardy’s range in acting. If I never knew Tom Hardy, I would’ve never guessed Bane and Eddie Brock were played by the same actor. Truly one of the greatest actors today. Thank you, Tom Hardy!

same here, it's really iconic. Other thing i love about it is the deep meaning behind it, it describes Bane's character. His upbringing was terrible, he grew up in a very hostile place that didnt care about morals, everyone is just there for themselves. Trapped down in a hole with limited supplies, hungry, thirsty, bored. Its a dark place. "I didnt see the light until I was already a man". The darkness has already become a part of him, he has already set beliefs and self institutions to survive in such conditions. Before that, he constantly hoped to be 'saved', to be free, but that hope did nothing for him. So, he became the darkness in order to survive it. When he has came outside, when all these "positive" things arrive, its already too late, he has become the final product, the sculpture is finished. "By then it was nothing but BLINDING". It describes his contempt for the light, it did nothing when he was in such awful conditions, only the darkness saved him and built him to be this strong and powerful.

There can be no shadow of a doubt that Tom Hardy gave the performance of a lifetime as Bane in terms of physicality as well as his voice. And that the character is considered to be one of the 'absolute' best to ever appear in comic book films and films in general.

yes, the ending was a second thought. Had nothing to do with the film whatsoever. I've heard of plot twists ,but that was dreadful and spoils the film immeasurably.

Tom Hardy played the part of Bane perfectly. His voice correctly portrayed the stature and the malice of the character. We might never know, but I don't think any other actor can play Bane as flawlessly as Hardy did in DKR.

His upbringing was terrible, he grew up in a very hostile place that didnt care about morals, everyone is just there for themselves. Trapped down in a hole with limited supplies, hungry, thirsty, bored. Its a dark place. "I didnt see the light until I was already a man". The darkness has already become a part of him, he has already set beliefs and self institutions to survive in such conditions. Before that, he constantly hoped to be 'saved', to be free, but that hope did nothing for him. So, he became the darkness in order to survive it. When he has came outside, when all these "positive" things arrive, its already too late, he has become the final product, the sculpture is finished. "By then it was nothing but BLINDING". It describes his contempt for the light, it did nothing when he was in such awful conditions, only the darkness saved him and built him to be this strong and powerful.

An underappreciated part is when Bane tells Bruce "but not of your body..... of your soul" the line is delivered almost with despair for Bruce, Tom Hardy is a monster!

Epic scenes, Great acting and the script just sings " character ", everything Bane says describes and evokes his personality, his personal philosophy and demonstrates the mentality and Merciless power Batman is up against, simply a Brilliant script bursting with life and talent. Bane is truly an Iconic role by a Masterful and inspired actor, Tom Hardy !
