To summarize the story of Noah Everyone in earth is acting extremely debatch except Noah and his family who are faithful to God. God tells Noah to build the Ark. Everyone laughs at him. When the flood waters begin falling, Noah urges people to change thier ways and get on the Ark. Everyone ignores him and continues to laugh at him. Everyone else proceeds to die in the great flood which was said to encompass the entire earth. Only Noah and his family survive, as well as all the animals he brought on board (and all the sea creatures for that matter)

Age of Ultron is arguably the most underrated MCU movie. I genuinely don’t see why people dislike it so much. James Spader kills the role and the movie really solidifies the avengers dynamic as a family. They argue, they party, they banter and quip but at the end of the day they have each others backs. The cinematography, direction, and color grading is far beyond what we see in the 1st Avengers, and they set up civil war, infinity war, and a ton of the fan service we see in endgame is amazing because of what this movie sets up.
@reganator500010 ай бұрын
It's probably the 'worst' avengers film- it doesn't have the tight pacing and climactic feel of Avengers Assemble, and doesn't knock it clean out of the part like infinity war/endgame, but it's certainly still better than many of the middling MCU films (all the Ant-Man's for example aren't quite as good, even if the first 2 are pretty fun/enjoyable flicks). To be fair though, being the 'worst' Avengers film is still excellent- they just really nailed the feel of Assemble, and the other two are a genuine triumph in cinema that I don't see being easily repeated just because no other film has ever tried to be the climax of a dozen or more lead in films.

The main thing I love about ultron in the MCU is his irony. He keeps denying that he’s similar, or even related to stark but time and time again he proves himself to be the most alike to stark. All of his lines also reflect his actions one way or another “I had strings but now I’m free”, he was free for a moment but vision shut him out of the net causing him to lose his freedom in a way, showing that he wasn’t bound by physical strings, but bound by the strings of fate, that no matter how much he tried to bring change fate still had him tied by the neck “People create the thing they dread” is a perfect example of his irony cause he created vision which proves to be his undoing

This is how they could have brought the X-Men into the MCU, with an Ultron v Magneto fight. It didn't even have to be a large-scale battle but just having Magneto in a location and Ultron arrive there causing trouble so Magneto reacts. James Spader did such a great job as Ultron that he should've been given a lot more time with the character, maybe two or three movies with the second one with him in the background rebuilding his strength ready to take on The Avengers and X-Men by creating more alliances. Ultron was always my favorite MCU villain. So charming, and so terrifying. It's a shame they killed him off so quickly. I really hope they consider bringing him back some day. He deserves it.
@zacharyjackson18297 ай бұрын
honestly marvel's only hope for redemption with the new upcoming phases is to ditch Kang (or recast him and lessen his involvement for now) and give us a peak Dr.Doom with hopefully all the big bads like Ultron returning. We need some good iconic villains to unite what has honestly been a sad gathering of heroes with no connection between them. I could stand a movie with She-Hulk, 3 eyed campy Strange and Woe-Is-Me Wanda if they were getting their asses kicked by Ultron again.
@HivefleetMagoladon4 ай бұрын
@@zacharyjackson1829 It's the problem of the MCU largely killing off all their villains on their first appearance: you don't get the chance to develop any kind of rogue's gallery like you do in the comics. The only villains I can think of who appeared in more than one film are Loki and Thanos, and they're both regarded as some of the best characters in the MCU because of it. If we were able to get Dr Doom, Ultron and Magneto as recurring villains, I think the MCU would start to turn in the right direction.
@level56507 ай бұрын
Looking back on the MCU’s golden era, I think Ultron might be its most fascinating villain. Ultron isn’t an evil AI that just calculated that humanity had to go, he’s a computer program turned into an actual human mind through the power of the Mind Stone. In a way, he’s almost like a spoilt child. He’s capable of preemptive judgement and irrational hostility, but his digital nature insulates him from experiencing the pain and suffering that is otherwise universal to the human condition, which deadens his sense of empathy. When he bombards his mind with the entire internet at once in his first scene and becomes aware of humanity’s worst failings, his gut reaction is “how could you all get it this wrong when the answer is so obvious!?”, with no knowledge of what it feels like to be tired, or desperate, or scared of death. I wonder, if he did manage to transplant his mind into the artifical body that became Vision, would being able to experience things like a plunging his hand into a cool stream on a hot day allow him to sympathise with humans better?
@HivefleetMagoladon4 ай бұрын
One of the fascinating things looking back on Ultron is how what he says contradicts how he acts, and I think it's deliberate by the writers. He is clearly emotional in multiple instances, and gets angry when compared to Stark, but he has no impulse control like a child. Instead of just saying "don't compare me to Stark", he cuts a dude's arm off and regrets it a second later.
@franciscs16044 ай бұрын
Okay- I actually really love that line you made up. *”How could you all get it this wrong when the answer is so obvious?”* Because this one line pretty much summarises those kinds of villains where- their actions maybe cruel and destructive, but the reasons behind those actions are logical and… **at times, valid**
