My Mokka used to do this (on a hardwood floor so the slide was impressive) as soon as she saw my Nana walk through the door- she'd always end up right at Nana's feet wiggling and hoping for tummy rubs. They are both gone now, but this brings back wonderful memories.

I absolutely love this - have watched it several times repeatedly just because it makes me smile. She obviously has a lot of personality - I love how she looks at the camera at the end as if to say "Did you get that??".

Great video! I taught my first dachshund how to 'stick 'em up' (beg) and then play dead when I point my finger at him and said 'bang'. That was a pretty good trick...but this one blows it out of the water! Nice job :D

My 5.6 yr. old part dachshund part beagle female just run from one end to the other back and forth until she is panting for water. She's capable of just going crazy. I taught her to say "thank you" by wagging her tail. I wait until the tail is really still then I offer her a piece of food and tell her to say thank you to Mommy and she caught on and wags her tail to say thank you. Cute, oh so cute. The dachshund in the video is so smart. Wonder how many times the dog could do that before tiring out?

I positively love dachshunds and yours is an absolute sweetheart. The closest my dachsie come to yours is laying down at stranger's feet when were out walking and DEMANDS her belly be rubbed. Thank you for wonderfullly sweet this video, it put a huge smile on my face. :-))))

Dachshunds are great dogs. Very smart and clever but not what I'd call "starter" dogs. People make that mistake and they control the roost. Love them though, they can be faithful, fierce but rarely mellow.

Heck yes, our Harley let's my Wife & I stay in HIS house & sleep in HIS king size bed. He is 100% Alpha Dog, he doesn't like ANY other dogs for some reason. He loves us & children and the in-laws but nobody else unless they come over on a rig. basis.

How long Training your Dachshund?

I began training Gracie when she was 10 weeks old. I started out slow, with easy tricks, short training time, like maybe 5-10 minutes. I always made it fun. Never get frustrated or mad. Time and patience is needed when training.

@@Siap86161 As far as food, it depends on where you live. Different countries have different brands. Just look at ingredients and do some research. Gracie eats a fresh cooked diet that we get delivered.

Sorry, you would have to say bang as she's nearing you. At the point of impact, that's when she should fall over. So real life accuracy is not accurate. Not even once. But, very cool.

This dachshund can do your typical bang trick.....this is a running or sliding bang. Sorry if you didn't quite get that! So as far as your "real life accuracy"....your comment was unnecessary.
