Fun fact - Jemaine Clement, the New Zealand actor who voices the giant crab Tamatoa, speaks Maori fluently (one of the Polynesian languages they use as inspiration in this film). He actually recorded a Maori version of "Shiny" which is really cool sounding.

This is one of my favorites! I love everything Lin-Manuel Miranda does, his lyrics and musicality are great. :) Plus, I recharge at the sea. It is my favorite place to be.

When Dwayne, the rock, Johnson was in the WWE. He did a thing called the people's eyebrow (he would raise his right eyebrow and give a small self satisfied little smirk). He did the same thing that as Maui in the middle of the song you're welcome.

Id love to see your reaction to Hercules! Its one of my favourite Disney movies ever, only recently topped by encanto. Also i don't think it gets enough attention, havent found many reactions to it.

I’m so envious of Maui cuz his tattoos just appear (he has to earn them, but still lol). I have been through many hours of pain to get mine, so I did have to earn mine too, in a way. It’s something all heavily-tattooed people understand, you gotta go through the pain to get the tattoo you want

Thank you. My husband picked it up 6 months ago and learned on the go. He says every movie has someone who connects and loves it so he tries his hardest not to disappoint.
