I remember seeing Infernum Plantera and thinking "Did they took inspiration from Souls' Plantera?" (mainly that hook attack). Now I see this and think "Did they took inspiration from Infernum Aquatic Scourge?" (with the whole thing of "it starts underwater but the final phase in the surface"). Not saying it like it's a bad thing, I just find it curious.

Not entirely sure about this fight. The first phase seems fine enough (save for the issue mentioned in the description.) The attacks here are reasonably varied, and while it could use some clean-ups here and there, it is honestly just fine! Phase 2 is where the fight falls off for me, however. Moving the boss up to the surface and creating a new arena is cool, but I feel it would've worked much better if it had a more drastic change to go along with it. The majority of the new attacks feel like the boss taking its elements from earlier and spamming them out, especially with the missiles and torpedoes. While it is still passable, it feels significantly less interesting and inspired than what came before it. Tbh, I think it might've been cooler if the boss started off above water at the beginning, but quickly went down and stayed inside of the water for the rest of the fight.

haven't seen an underwater boss that would look fun to me before. infernum aquatic scourge doesn't count, they remove the underwater slowness i believe

There’s literally just one attack they both share, both fights being partially underwater doesnt necessary mean they got ideas from AS

Hello i made the boss I was told about infernum AS having an underwater mechanic after the boss was fully finished, it has zero connection Have talked to infernum devs about it (like toasty above), we both found it funny Not like putting a boss underwater is the most crazy revolutionary gimmick
