That intro showing the lair and the dark stormy sky along with the music freaked my brother out when we first started playing this game on N64 back in 1998 (I was 9, he was 7). But he got over it quickly. We were both very happy to be finally playing Banjo-Kazooie months after hearing about it. It was all the rage back in the day - great memories.

i love how almost every object and creature talked in banjo-kazooie, wish it was implemented in banjo-tooie as well. both great games either way! 💗

I never had an N64, so I never played this game when it first came out. 😭 But I absolutely love both the challenge and the silliness. I also love the fact that this game has a surprisingly fun Bad Ending.

Tootie kind of reminds me of Tiny from DK64. Their looks are almost identical, except one's a bear and one's a monkey. This really brings back memories of good old days. God, I feel old. Lol!

No lie, I just started this game up a few minutes ago. I'm playing it right now as I'm typing this actually. The only problem is... I never played it before in my entire life!! I'm a young adult now, and not my mother or anybody else have ever gotten this for me as a child. I never even knew it existed! But lately I've been seeing it alot in the speedrun videos I watch on YT, so I decided what the hell, why not try it out now? I'm currently in the first training part of it. And I have no idea what tf I'm supposed to do! Something about moving a big A$$ carrot?? Ughh! The communication and info on this game isn't very good, unlike on games such as Super Mario 64... The texts from the characters at the bottom of the screen zooms by too quickly. I can't read them fast enough! So I have no other way to learn what I may be doing right or wrong.... smh 😑
