I forgot how good the audioscape was in this game, with the world theme modifying it's voices and feel as you approach specific areas like Mumbo's hut or Conga the Gorilla. Rare was at its best in this era.

I still remember getting this in 98 for my bday and I beat it multiple times. It's one of my favorite games. I hate that Microsoft bought rare. What good have they done with any rare classics besides Killer Instinct? If Nintendo still owned rare, we'd have all good new versions of all the rare classics. I always wanted a new Diddy Kong racing but of course Microsoft doesn't do anything with the classic rare titles.
