Ahh ... the bass of Lee Hayes! They were all fantastic! And they're going to be remembered and celebrated long after everybody has forgotten those scuzz-buckets of the McCarthy Commission who did their best to ruin these people.

@@briandelaney9710 No they weren't. They supported many of the things the US Communist party supported like labor unions and civil rights but disavowed Stalin and his version of communism.

Their All-American look was on purpose. This is what was known later on as "Communism with a human face". Disclaimer-I have no prejudice against the "Communism" of that era. This is 70 years ago. Many of the nicer people in the Depression era turned to communism.
