@sheilaguest4132 Gen. 1:26 Then GOD said, Let " us " make man in " our " image, after " our " likeness, And Let " them " have Dominion over the fish of the sea etc. . . What is not clearly established here is the writer does not indicate who GOD is speaking to when GOD says : " Let us " and then it is not established who GOD is referring to when he says " in our image " and in Gen. 1:26 extends man to become a pluralism say, multiple in creation. Gen. 1:27 So GOD created man in his " own " image, In the image of GOD he created " him " ; he created them male and female He created " them ". There's a lot of word play going on here as these Bibles are forever at the reprint recording stages based on copywrites and or religious perspectives or should I say, viewpoints. I believe GOD was the primary architect in creation and other creators who also may have been Celestial Spiritual Travelers or God's themselves were creators the Living GOD was communicating to when he opened up with creating man. What I don't understand is why the vital information was left out by the author or why was it taken out ?

I know a man who grew up in a poor neighborhood. He got a scholarship to go to one of the most prestigious high schools in the country and he intentionally made friends with rich kids to get to their parents. He started cutting grass and doing odd jobs after school and on the weekends for these kids’ parents, until he got some much business that he hired his friends from his neighbourhood to help out. By the time he graduated high school he had amassed a clientele of the most rich and influential people in the country, I’m talking governors, Forbes CEOs and brokers etc. Bro is in college now doing internships are blue chip companies.

There's alot of truth to that... My dad brought a small corner Liquor store up to doing over a million a year in sales. Eventually he bought a 500K house in a gated community on a ⛳️ . One day one of the neighbors came to introduce himself and said, "I dont know you but I'm sure you'll be a good neighbor because if you're here you belong here." 💯🤞🏾🤞🏼 Ironically that winter that white neighbor had a pregnant wife and another toddler blizzard came thru he couldn't get to shoveling with work and his family my dad had a snowblower he didn't do his whole driveway (big ass driveway 😂) but he did enough where he could get his car out of the garage! "You just don't know how much that helped me" "What are neighbors for?"

I disagree. The more things change, the more gates they open to allow other things to change. Read the history of women's rights, and how they moved from being theior husband's housekeeper to holding many prominent positions in politics and i9n industry. The same goes for black people, who were mostly manual workers at one time, barely scratching a living, and while it is true that they are still held back by public attitudes to them, they nonetheless hold positions in the highest ranks of politics (eg. Obama) and the law (eg. Clarence Thomas) - as well as in every branch of industry.

What should be most concerning to all of us is how recent this was a reality for Black people in the US. There are people still alive from 1954. This wasn't 100 years ago, this is recent history. Even after chattel slavery, Black people have continued to be under the thumb of oppression on the basis of color alone. It was overt back then, today it's more covert.

I mean in my country it wasn't longer ago than 80s where our goverment finally put a stop to, autistic people like myself or people with downs syndrome being put in the same box as ped0ph!Ies or gRAPISTS. They literally sent autistic children and kids with downs, in prisons/asylums alongside ped0s, gRAPISTS and lust-m*rderes. Back then it was all the same. If you were different, wether good or bad, you were deemed as a "m0r0n". The last of these asylums closed down in 1984. Humanity has never been kind to those that looked or acted different. Just one more reason why i loathe identity politics because it leads to tribalistic behavior, which usually ends up getting other people hurt.
