A square yellow sponge named SpongeBob SquarePants lives in a pineapple with his pet snail, Gary, in the city of Bikini Bottom on the floor of the Pacific Ocean. I think the wildest part about Mid-Life Crustacean is that the panty raid is just played completely straight, like they never clarify that SpongeBob and Patrick want Mrs. Krabs underwear for any kind of innocent reason, so we just have to assume that they do it for the reason you probably think someone would do such a thing. SpongeBob and Patrick love older ladies, confirmed.

"Mid-Life Crustacean" should not have been banned. They've implied a lot worse through subtext, afterall. Plus, Mr. Krabs does get his comeuppance in the end.. It's also just one if the most hilarious SpongeBob episodes ever. "Are you feeling it now, Mr. Krabs?" Gets me everytime.

The thing about "implying a lot worse" is that kids don't understand hidden adult jokes. That's the point. This wasn't an innuendo. It was a clear depiction of a sex crime. And it isn't banned, Nickelodeon (a *children's* television channel) just doesn't air it. It's clearly widely available online, where adults can find it, exactly where it belongs. Why are you so desperate for children specifically to learn about panty raids?

The funny things are that NO.1: I remember when they aired the "Mid-life Crustacean/The Great Snail Race" episode and NO.2: If you watch the "Missing Identity" episode again, you can see he did wear his shirt backwards the whole time because the folds for his tie weren't there until Patrick noticed it.

Like Nickelodeon refuses this episode yet they are so ok with the messed up crap they show in the future seasons that came out after the first movie. Like season 4 and 5 are actually still pretty decent and funny, but after that it just goes downhill. So I do wanna warn ya about the squidward’s toenail scene from the “house fancy” ep, and you’ll see why Nickelodeon executives are such hypocrites.

There are very specific reasons why the “Mid Life Crustacean” episode is banned, which I am not going to say but it makes sense. But at the same time, the episode is pretty relatable. At some point in our lives, we are going to feel old and try to do things to make us feel younger.

SpongeBob's name tag was on his back the whole time, but the few times we see him from behind before the reveal (at 18:01 when sliding to Gary, going inside the second time he retraces his steps, and when looking at the dumpster), the name tag is not there.

Omg, I've watched the panty raid episode on TV, but at least I was too young to know the intention of that gag. Now I'm like "Oh my God, why?" The highlight for me was the "Are you feeling it now, Mr. Krabs" line. For some reason, that kinda reminds me of that "Have you finished those errands" line. The grest snail race and plankton's army episodes were both hilarious, and plus, I can never forget the iconic Squidward's last names joke.

The final part of Plankton's Army made me laugh as a kid because I thought Plankton runs away because he only saw himself in the book, and as an adult, I laughed because of Plankton's panicking is because he thought he's part of the recipe, which is scientifically accurate given that Zooplankton and Phytoplankton is the primary food source for marine animals.
