Bannerlord Solo-Person World Conquest Challenge 1-3

In this challenge campaign, I'll be conquering the entire world without using any units, army or vassals - only my main character.
Rules for the campaign:
- Cannot command units in battle (no leading
own/allied troops - garrison for defense ok)
- Executions can only be used as a Last
Resort (my goal is to not execute a single person)
- Retreat from battle is allowed, but cannot
restock ammo (arrows/javs must be swapped
out for different gear set)
- No smithing for profit allowed, only weapons for personal use
- No hiring companions or spouse (not even as governor)
- Being vassal allowed, but cannot have vassals as a king
- No exploits of any kind allowed (influence glitching, etc.)
- Some cheese allowed... maybe...

If you play on PC, the mod XPTweaks removes a lot of the tedium related to grinding skills. Strat avoided it for this run because he wanted to keep the experience as vanilla as possible.

Honestly I think they need to actually nerf the AI as it is kind of comical how good they are at blocking sometimes.

While the shields having massive hitboxes are kinda annoying, I think it kinda makes sense, because at a lot of distances in real life you could probably move the shield a tiny bit in anticipation of where the arrow would hit, depending on the range.

The bigger hitbox should only be on NPC projectiles. Just to make skills effective but not frustrate the player that aims their shots.

Funny you mention him - I had another video planned as Galadriel and marrying Simir, going town to town and winning tournaments without having to fight in them using the hubby lol! It's a pretty fun strategy - join tourny, quit tourny, hubby cleans up the rest and it's free prizes and renown :)

Bows in this game have the most satisfying aiming ever. No other game even comes close to the feeling that an experienced horseback archer can attain in Bannerlord. Especially when farming shieldless melees and it becomes so rhythmic as to almost be shooting by sound alone

I really enjoy these more formatted, shorter episodes. I have watched quite a bit of the original recording, and thus had some severe deja-vu in the first episode before it struck me that this was the edited version of that content ^^

I'm of the opinion that the lack of a leader telling the rabble to put their spears up is intentional. I also wonder if you realize that what you're doing, what you think is easy because you've had a lot of practice doing it, is actually quite hard for the average player.

Not sure if it violates the rules, but this probably would have been easier had you focused on a few tournaments at the beginning to get some better helmets, armor, barding, horse, etc. That would have helped prevent a lot of the village deaths or have made it quicker. It'd probably be cheesy to sell off noble horses to get the noble bow, bigger arrow stacks, legging, gauntlets, or a better spear, but that's an option.

I have 275 bow and rideing with every mou ted archer perk .. how the hells ur bloom so small

The bow you're using also has an effect - are you using the best bow? Aside from that, the perks should be able to get you there unless they changed it in a patch since I did this?
