Spiraling works great in thin metal with small (as in 1 or 2 mm) cutters as well. Great tips, thank you.

This was great, in fact I just set my tabs selection to triangular as a user default...........I hope the next Banter with Brad is on cutter compensation.

Hi Brad, Great tutorial! I may suggest you turn on/check the Transparent box for these Machining videos so you can very clearly see what the cut/tool path looks like directly from the side in this case!

@billyfrank6318 - Yes, great tip. I always forget about that option. I also should have turned off "display in-process stock". Maybe that will be a future tip. :)

@@bradtallis8968 Ha, all I know is I am so glad you are back as I have always watched and loved your videos back when I was learning Fusion! And for the record I took zero pleasure in even suggesting anything to the master, I just love using that transparent feature for those internal stock cuts! Looking forward to more videos and thank you Sir! B?

@@bradtallis8968 I still find the whole origin thing a bit confusing, especially with assemblies with components and derived components.

Can you ramp down at the initial “plunge” and not all the way around?
@bradtallis8968
@bradtallis8968 2 ай бұрын
@billkellogg1403- Yes, by changing the Ramping Angle to a larger number (25 degrees, for example) and by changing the Maximum Ramp Stepdown to a larger number, you can have it ramp quicker instead of going all the way around the model. This works well if you are doing multiple stepdowns.

Especially if you're going to stick with one Q per episode, you def need to include the topic in the title. Will make it easier for people to find in the future (and more likely for someone not already following you to find you).

Hey Brad, great idea. Do you know a way to make the automatic placement of those little windows (to put in dimensions as example) a bit more smart? Right now it jumps to where my mouse pointer is, and this is really annoying. Yes, not a CAD or CAM question, more a F360 UI thing. But it drives me crazy, including me sending wishes towards that responsible product manager, that would get censored here on YT

@peter - Not that I know of. I would recommend posting this on the Autodesk Fusion Forum. I know some of the product managers review those posts.
