Two Bantu groups dispersed from the Great Zimbabwe/Gokomere area into what is today South Africa. This migration began to take place around circa 400 AD. Prior to this both groups had migrated down from Northeast Africa via Arabia Felix. This initial migration from Arabia Felix (Sena) took place circa 150 AD and was caused by political unrest in Southern Arabia between the Himyarites, Saba, Qataban, Hadramaut, and Aksum. Sena was a thriving Jewish city at the time of the Medo-Persian empire around 500 BC, and is believed to have been dominated by Israelites who had fled Jerusalem during the Babylonian invasion. They crossed the Jordan into Yemen, believing they were safe in the valley in the east, crossing the Masilah River.(1) These two Bantu groups are now known as the Nguni and the Sotho-Tswana. In this lesson, we will show the Hebraic-Israelitish origins of both groups using historical and Biblical evidence.

I am watching this and years are rolling down my eyes as it is describing my heritage and history as a so called Coloured person of Capetown. I have gone for a DNA test Which determined that I am 70 percent African. 40 percent Western African and 30 percent Eastern (Kenyan). The rest is Chinese, Malay, and European. No Khoi DNA which was a great surprise and lead me to the truth of who I really am,An Israelite blessed to be of Judah and Israel! The deception runs deep but the devil is a liar. The truth will prevail!!!All Praises to the most high! Yahua!!! Hallelujah!

Nguni or Ngoni in southern Tanzania . Many of them are have animal surname(clan names). For example Simba(lion),Nyati(buffalo),mbawala(impala),Matumbo (an elephant),ndovu (an elephant),ngonyani (baboon).and so many. There are big history in southern Tanzania. The maji maji war . Was the war between Ngoni with allies against the German. So you will see museums where Ngoni leaders hanged to death on 1900.Ngoni spread from songea town to Lindi. Matumbi are Ngoni people too. They used to live at the mountain. Matumbi means people of the mountain. You can get books and history of Bantu migration at Peramiho catholic books store and go back to songea at museum where you can get history too. Songea was the first born of zwangedaba . Thus where the town took the name .

A derogatory term for a black South African is 'kaffir', meaning lawless or godless, coined by the Arabs because they could not convert them. Thus, the name of this area came to be known as Cafreria, land of the cafers. This is what Leo Africanus, a Spanish Muslim Moor, wrote in his book "The History and Description of Africa": "The people called Cafri or Cafates, being blacke as pitch, and of a mightie stature and (as some thinke) descended of the Jewes; but now they are idolators, and most deadly enemies to the Christians (Ethiopians)." Many in South Africa have Israelite lineage but have been idolators since before the arrival of Europe. Thanks for shedding light on this, brother.

I have never known any tribes in South Africa that worship actual idols. I only know of the ancestor thing, which began as prayers to God that the ancestors were supposed to convey - you can imagine how this could have been perverted over the centuries, to what ti is now. Other than this confusion, black people here do not do idols, and are very conscious of there being only one God. Even historians and missionaries made the same observation.

@@SpillSipOne they cannot however even when our (ancestors ) people were in Israel at times they did that and that was wrong however its not idols please note its one of the reason why Bantu people easily accept Christ when you teach them in love because they already understand the concept of Going to God through a mediator and that you can not carve a God and that God is in heaven and because of sin you need mediator and Christ is the only Mediator . The fall of Jerusalem is the issue that created problems not necessary the children born after that(bantu)

I had always wondered why my culture, the Batswana have such a deep link with the colors Blue and white. In all that we do, those colors remain our tradition. And the fact that we have a tribe within Batswana called Ba Taung, and a whole location called the place of the Lion. It explains a lot about South Africa.

That’s because Botswana comes from the Sotho family which also includes BaPedi,Barotsi (Lozi) people of Zambia ,Zimbabwe (only the north) ,Namibia(15%) and most of central and eastern South Africa which is basically most of the SADAC countries (not Mozambique)but we all come from the Bantu people. I’m a MoTaung too but I’m Sotho we are a Clan not a tribe ,the south of Africa is split into two major nations Nguni tribe and Bakgalagadi which then split into their own respective sub-tribes . Nguni’s include Zulu,Xhosa,Tsonga people then Bakgalagadi (Bakolobedu) being the Sotho ,Batswana,Bapedi ,Barotsi and Balobedu. The outlier there is Venda people who come from a mixture of Balovedu and Nguni descendents . Most of the sub-tribes split because of war amongst each other and the war for power amongst the Nguni and Bakgalagadi the only difference is that the Nguni’s are all in agreement of the umbrella term oNguni but then BaKgalagadi still don’t want to be united after a few attempts of unification

1.We are the Nguni, originally Ngoni which came from aba-ngoni(those who do not sin)2.We believe there is One"God" uNkulunkulu(the father of our fore fathers)he does not have a name,he is not a god.3.We actually don't have surnames but take our father's name(We use "ka"like they use"ben" in hebrew)4.We keep our clan names because we honour the dead as being holy as close the the throne of the lord.5.We don't eat pork for it is flash.6.We keep the sabbath even as Christians,we do not do traditional work such as heading cattle or work the fields.7.We are obsessed with being spiritually clean,we have lots of cleansing ceremonies ie sin, war, death, pre marriage, coming off age, birth, giving birth, it doesn't end.8.Marriage law is same as Hebrew law including polygamy and inheriting your late brothers wife.9.We have a secrede manner of slaughtering animals.10.We celebrate some festive of hebrew origin such as umkhosi wokweshwama, welcoming of new born(baptized)11.Men should be circumcised. We are God's people and the truth shall reveal itself soon. The Covenant of God was never broken even under the rule of strangers.

for me i am being awakened eveyday, i have this conviction that our Bantu history of southern africa may have been centred on Great zimbabwe where the warrior soldiers were sent out to huntdown the khoisan people. In their conguest, they could not return back and since they were warrior army without women(sent for long distances)decided to marry the khoisan wives thereby converted their linguistic characteristcs, complexion and many stuff. my evidence leading to this conviction is the number of the nguni ie their population was overally down to mean they started building empires later thn the main body in the north . 2 .the similarities of the bantu languages of south africa have many similarities in Chi Shona wc is closely related to many bantu speaking pipo of the tanganyika or the great lake rigion. 3.the customs are so unique and totems in Shona pipo as well in xhosa , zulu, shangani, etc. 4 in shona we have a sabbath day from long time known as chisi where pipo are to rest and is forbiden to carryout any house choes and that Sabbat is being enforced by chiefs and punishable though the day is now characterised by different religions and its subsequent significance is being eroded by chistianity sabbat. Glory to the Most High Musikavanhu(the creator of pipo)

A lot of Tswana, Sotho and Nguni customs, taboos, rituals and tradition's are rooted in the culture and religion of the Hebrews. This is true also for our languages. Our languages are semitic in origin and in etymology as well as how we speak where nouns are placed before adjectives which is not typical of kushitic, voltic and Nilotic (African) languages.

Young Dezzy your questions are always about this. Focus on keeping the commandments not genealogies. 1 Timothy 1:4 "Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do." Titus 3:9 "But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain." Ecclesiastes 12:13 "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."

I am intersted in finding out if the Kalenjin people of East Africa is one of the Isrselite tribes. I say this because their traditional lives is similar if nor the same with Biblical israelite culture. Also, there are at least 10 tribes within this community which makes me believe that there may actually be 12 tribes but at least two may have been suppressed. Thanks so.much for your teachings because though your lessons, I am beginning to umderstand the bible than ever.

Thanks for your comment. And continue to read your Bible and study it for yourself. Accept what it says at face value and do not add or take away from it. Kalenjin are Nilotic peoples. My ex from college and mother of my firstborn and so far only son is Kalenjin. From my research and what her Father told me they descend from the Ancient Original Black Egyptians that migrated down the Nile River into East Africa. Here is something similar to what he told me that I pulled from a form on the internet: The Kalenjins of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania had the role of defending Egypt,up to the time of Herodotus. When Herodotus visited Egypt during the 5th century BCE, he encountered a sub-nation of Egypt known as Sebenitus. Until the 40s, all Kalenjin were known by fourth names namely Sebei, Sabaot, Miot and Midian. Scholars from the community coined the word, Kalenjin, meaning I tell you to unite all the sub-nations of the tribe. Sebei and Sabaot now live around Mt. Elgon in Western Kenya and Eastern Uganda. It is possible that Herodotus misspelled the word, Sebenitus, which should have been either Sebei or Sabaot. Even the Bible confirms the presence of the Sebei (Kalenjin). Job 1:5 says "...and the Sabeans fell upon and took them away." Ezekiel also wrote about the Kalenjins (Sabeans), a sub-tribe of Ancient Egyptians. ze:23:42 says, "..and a voice of multitude being at ease was with her, and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness which put bracelets upon their hands and beautiful crowns upon their heads." When Herodotus asked the Sebenitus people about where their aboriginal home was, they told him is/was a place called Nttr-the holy land of the God in the south. With the Benefit of Kalenjin language, we can learn that Ntrr was actually Tororo Hills in Eastern Uganda. Tororo means the exalted one, the high hill or even God. Hence Ntrr should be netoror-the exalted one! According to their own accounts, the Kalenjin believe that their ancestors aboriginal home was here in Kenya at a place called Tororo Hills in Eastern Uganda. From here they migrated to Misiri or Egypt, where they stayed for thousands of years, and then migrated back again to Kenya. Some remained in Egypt. Others are in Ethiopia, Sudan, Eritrea and many other places around the world. However not all Old Egyptians (Kalenjin) left for Egypt. The Ogiek or Dorobo who speak Kalenjin do not recall having migrated from elsewhere. They say that they have been living in Kenya since time immemorial. In 2001, I interviewed some oldmen as to why they left Egypt. They told me that they left Egypt after being attacked by a mysterious people called Kipyayamungeen. They said these people were white. (The term, "white", is a relative term, which means lighter skin color.) They say this was during the reign of Pharaoh Kipcheum. According to Dr Sambu, about 250,000 warriors left Egypt for East Africa as a result of this invasion. This event coincides with the first Persian invasion of Egypt, which occurred about 525 BCE. Because the Kalenjin tongue is basically a dialect of the Egyptian language, many Egyptian words and names are recognizable by the Kalenjin peoples, such as: For thousands of years, Egypt was known to the entire ancient world as Kagypta, meaning the sanctuary of Pta. Pta, now known as Kiptaiyat in modern Kalenjin language, was the deity of Memphis. When the Greeks came to Egypt about 2500 years ago, they could not pronounce the word Kagypta. Instead, they pronounced it as Aigyptos or Aegyptus. They also referred to people of Egypt as Kiptaios (see the word Kiptaiyaat above!). The word, kmt, which the Egyptians referred to as their country, is also traceable to the Kalenjin tongue. Kemet in Kalenjin means country. Some other Egyptians called their country Khemet, which historians used to coin the word Hamites. Pharaoh in Kalenjin language means a massively built house, a leader or president. In fact, Pharaoh should be written as Parao, from the words Para (meaning big or vast) and ooh or woor, meaning the big one. Parao should mean the leader of the entire nation. I say it should be Parao because the English word Empire is derived from it. Em in Kalenjin and Ancient Egyptian means country, while para or pire means wide, big or vast. Hence, the Europeans coined the word Empire and its derivatives from the word Parao or Pharaoh! The Kalenjin people have produced some of the Egyptian Pharaohs. Pharaoh Amasis in Kalenjin may mean the one loved by God, the one who loves God, the one who eats God or the one who is eaten by God. Am in Kalenjin means eat, while Asista means the sun. There are many other examples.

Fyi: Nilotic peoples descend from the Ancient Egyptians through Mizraim's son Pathrusim. See Genesis 10:14. The nilotic peoples descend from the indigenous peoples of Upper Egypt/Sudan. Meaning Southern Egypt and modern day countries of Sudan and South Sudan. Constant displacement forced them to migrate southwards into East and Central Africa. Many still remain in South sudan. Pathros: (region of the south ), a part of Egypt, and a Mizraite tribe whose people were called Pathrusim. In the list of the Mizraites the Pathrusim occur after the Naphtuhim and before the Caluhim; the latter being followed by the notice of the Philistines and by the Caphtorim. ( Genesis 10:13 Genesis 10:14 ; 1 Chronicles 1:12 ) Pathros is mentioned in the prophecies of Isaiah, ( Isaiah 11:11 ) Jeremiah ( Jeremiah 44:1 Jeremiah 44:15 ) and Ezekiel. ( Ezekiel 29:14 ; 30:13-18 ) It was probably part or all of upper Egypt, and we may trace its name in the Pathyrite name, in which Thebes was situated. Pathros - the name generally given to Upper Egypt (the Thebaid of the Greeks), as distinguished from Matsor, or Lower Egypt (Isa. 11:11; Jer. 44:1, 15; Ezek. 30:14), the two forming Mizraim. After the destruction of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar, colonies of Jews settled “in the country of Pathros” and other parts of Egypt.

This is unnecessary. Not everyone came through Sena. Even our features are not the same, if you think about it. However, a Zulu speaker can easily understand spoken Venda once they get the hang of the pronunciation.

The origins of the Choctaw begin with the Olmec Civilization. The Olmec civilization developed out of the convergence of two cultural spheres of influence. The first being the established culture in the Veracruz Area of Mexico which migrated originally from Northeast Asia. These settlers were primarily Ainu from Northern Japan. After Establishing themselves amongst the Clovis culture in the area of New Mexico they migrated further south into what is today Mexico. Around circa 1600 BC they were joined by a ship of immigrants from Egypt (Phoenicians, Israelites, & Egyptians). These visitors brought with them their religious practices which left a lasting impact on the region. Intermixing with the already established population they introduced things like human sacrifice & Bamah’s (High places). Bamah’s or Mound Building was first introduced here in Mesoamerica. This is why the Pyramids of Mexico do not look like Egyptian pyramids and bare more of a resemblance to Assyrian Ziggurats. Originally starting out as artificially constructed earthen mounds with platforms on top for religious services (sacrifice); later civilizations that emerged out of the Olmecs like the Mayans and Aztecs began adding stones to these earthen mounds to create pyramids. Out of this; Olmec cultures spread to the Mississippian Mound Building cultures of the Southeastern United States. With the rise of the Mayans the Olmec civilization began to decline circa 400 BC (tied to global events). The Olmec’s re-established themselves further north with the Epi-Olmec culture from roughly 300 BC to 250 AD. Out of the decline of this culture the Choctaw emerged migrating out of Mexico to the Southeastern United states. Bringing with them the knowledge of mound building.

No Bantu have ever said the KhoiSan are not native to South Africa. On the contrary, the Bantu are the ones whites and Cape Coloured people gang up against accusing them of not being indigenous to South Africa. Bantu people have intermarried with the KhoiSan, we call them Bathwa actually. Coloured people did not arrive in South Africa. Europeans arrived and made babies with Africans, and took the babies away to form a separate race classifcation which Europeans called Coloured, but we call them our cousins.
