Its easy to forget that the vtuber model and its layer of anonymity really helps grow the confidence to do anything. A lot of vtubers become chill and subdued when they do IRL streams and I don't think its because they play up the character when using their model. It kinda reminds me of how people in vrchat had a lot of confidence to say and do things that they normally might not do, even with their friends because everything looks better when a digital avatar does it rather than a regular person. Just an obvious observation on my part

I half disagree on this part "because everything looks better when a digital avatar does it rather than a regular person." The reason why people have more confidence when they talk through a vrchat model or vtuber model is because of anonymity. There's nothing difference why a lot of people are vocal on the internet when they uses dummy accounts because whatever happens, it would not come bite them back irl. Say, you are talking in VRChat and you are with only strangers, even if you say something controversial like a rap* joke, in the end, you wouldn't be judged. The one being judged is your character but not you personally.

Eh idk if there is that much of a difference, in my opinion irl Bao was/is pretty chaotic too just the way we know and like her to be. Especially in the Japan videos I saw a while ago. As for looks, I mean a character is a character, that is the whole idea so I personally am not shocked. And even then, the difference is not THAT big. Oh and twitch chat is always down bad for anyone and everyone so no surprises there either.

Ah yes, the video in which Bao attempts to make a cake almost as tasty as the one her momma made all those years ago. Also, if this is Bao's house, she can get cabinets built so she doesn't have to keep climbing stuff. They do it for disabled folk all the time for accessibility reasons, and if she ever sells the house it usually adds to the number of people interested in the house.
