If curious about the times you want to try to hit, shoot the targets without the movement component and note the time. You want the time to be in the same ballpark when you add the movement.

Great point! I'll make note of that next time

Did you change the recoil spring/hammer spring? If so what weight. You control it well

I have a prodigy and Staccato-p. Never had any problems with my prodigy, but wish i just saved the 1500 and just bought the Staccato-p. It shoots great, just the staccato is on another level.

I spent probably about 1k on the prodigy build out and it runs just as fast and well as a Staccato does. Id rather spend the extra 1k on ammo

@lourenova well if you spent 1k on the build, then you spent 2500 all together, which is what a staccato cost, cause the prodigy is 1500. So you got the same gun for 2500, but you had to build it to get it as good.

@@breeze7863 If I bought a Staccato tho, i would still not have an aluminum grip, XL magwell, extended mag release and a flat trigger. So at $2500, I would still spend close to 1k getting all that done to it. When you buy a Staccato you are very much paying extra for the name and marketing behind the brand.

@lourenova I agree, but you're also paying for reliability, better parts by a mile and the name known for reliability. Even tho I haven't had a problem out of my Prodigy, they are known for problems. I can't trust my life with it. I trust the staccato-p. Again, do you, everyone has their preference. God bless.

@@breeze7863 Well thankfully my Prodigy has 3k rounds with it and the only malfunctions have been ammo induced. I also just play in USPSA with mine
