As a lifelong authentic Republican, I can say I truly miss hearing presidential speeches that sound...well....presidential. Didn't agree with much of Obama's policies but had then and have even more now tons of respect for the man. Thanks for a brief reminder of what the leader of the free world is supposed to sound like.
@Getoffmylawn_Gaming5 жыл бұрын
@Janet Masiello I said I was a Republican. I didn't say I supported the POTUS. There are some of us out there that still hold conservative values while not supporting such a vile and divisive individual. You'd be better off not assuming there are only 2 sides to this particular coin.

The Addams except for in 2008 when he said he was going to put y'all back in Chains and all the times he made attacks on John McCain and called him everything from a traitor to a racist but none of that ever happened because the left and the Democrats of this country are so brain-dead and have the memory of a goldfish that they can't remember all of the terrible treasonous behavior of him and his most corrupt cabinet worse than J Edgar Hoover has ever existed in American history but that's behind us now right Donald Trump screwed a stripper in 2005 and she extorted him and he paid her off with his own money cuz he's a billionaire but the brain dead will do mental gymnastics and pretend that it was kind of campaign Finance even though we have literal proof that his opposing candidate Hillary Clinton literally did commit billions in campaign Finance crimes but that doesn't matter because she was a Democrat so she's allowed to do whatever she wants including have our own private sewer server that got hacked by China but that's okay because the whole Democrat Party is being paid off by China to destroy this country they're also stealing all the water out of the Great Lakes well Michigan's water was shut off to other schools even though the entire shape of Michigan is literally surrounded by A Great Lakes of freshwater but no one on the left realizes Michigan is surrounded by freshwater you just scream about lead and Municipal supplies because your old brain dead and the anti-establishment politician must be removed from office because he doesn't like illegal immigration and because Paul manafort didn't pay his taxes in 2005 so I guess we're even right? you people are so dumb he has orange hair and you are all retarded

@Amaryllis Galatzs One of the indoctrinated Trump sheep? I didn't always agree with Bush or Obama but I prided myself in knowing that, right or wrong-they had America's best interest at heart. Not so with the present POTUS sitting in the Oval Office. And....you'd probably see it if it you weren't so indoctrinated. If Obama or Bush was doing what Trump is doing now you'd see it for what it is. However, it seems your closed mind can't grasp what is happening now, in part, the possible collusion of Trump with the Russians. I have a challenge for you. If Obama was doing what Trump is now doing with the Russians.......would you question it? Or...is your loyalty so much with the current president that you don't question what he is doing the same way you would Obama? I know the answer, but do you?

Listening to President Obama and contrasting that with the idiot we now have in office makes me so ashamed of the USA right now, and so very ashamed of those who still support trump.. It was a sad week in that we lost McCain, but it was so nice to not have to wake up wondering what controversy, childish insult or political scandal was being tweeted while we were sleeping! Hearing everyone's words just goes to show,our American spirit is still alive and well. I miss that sense of peace and calm that we once depended on knowing the Leader of the Free World was on our side. I think McCains passing really opened some people's eyes about what it truly means to be a patriot and in service for our country. Even in death,he made sure to get that point across.

We need to get back to this America where people had differences and disagreements but still respected and loved on each other regardless. All the living FORMER Presidents are the example of what a great America truly is. They are all friends and civil with each other regardless of party. It's sad that our current president has brought out so much hate in this country and turned everybody against everybody. Not only racial hate but now there's a hate between parties. We need to look to these former Presidents and take their examples and friendships as how we as AMERICA should get along because we are ALL America. America will not be great again until we get this current hatemonger and division causing so called president out of office. Respect to John McCain and all our FORMER REAL PRESIDENTS. Trump's head must be exploding today, haha. He doesn't get to hang out with the adults because no one wanted him there!

Does he know how to write? I heard doesn't read intricate state matters regarding country, its laws, international intelligence reports, pending laws, etc., etc., etc......unless its "1 page and no more than 9 bullet points". True story. Does tweeting count? 140 characters or less with typos and ignorant words?

If you can make people laugh at a funeral or memorial service then you are a great speaker. Also, you have great speech writers.
