They wont be successful until the get better batteries. 5-8 hours off a single charge is not very long, your going to be recharging it every 3-4 days

I agree, I don't think wallights are worth so much more than just a regular table lamp or even a standing lamp. I understand the space saving aspect but I think they need to lower the price.

You just know it’s gonna be the most harsh light too. The LEDs probably have a cri of like 70, just like a flashlight from the dollar store. You won’t appreciate what I’m talking about until you turn the light on in a dark room and you feel like you’re in a horror movie. There’s something very unsettling about low cri lifhts. For those that don’t know cri is color rendering index. How accurately the light renders colors. The sun, a campfire, a candle are all 100. A dollar store flashlight is probably about 70. This light is probably about 70 too.

More hassle to keep charging than just taking the time to do a fixed install. More environmentally friendly when you eliminate the battery too. Then you have the cost of the unit, which is astronomical. 😂

Actually, there was one. A sleaker model - solar/bathroom steam-run about 10 years ago, which was designed and retailed by a variety-offering Indian lighting company. When I came back to India from the US, to my old house - I was “re-amazed” by this lighting and wanted more for gifting - basically called the company for more of those lightings, however it was discontinued operations (since 3-4 years?) because they moved on to more fancier tech and people got bored of this one.

Chinese crap lights for $25 including shipping lasts 12hrs super bright. Tried and tested for over a year. Downside takes 6 hrs to charge. You need to improve your battery.

This is a great option for a trailer or maybe a kids room where it’s constantly changing. But for adults, if I wanted beside lights I’d actually rather go through an electrician and have mine be a permanent fixture.

A suction cup design would be more practical. I have a tap on light I bought for a dollar that I stuck to the wall using those same adhesive strips that cost $1.50. Charging $95 for this is bonkers and it has a ton of competition. 5 hour use and usb charge only is useless. That would only be practical for a light that was for utility work or highly movable. Those strips arent just magnetic easy off on design. They would lose stickiness after being removed, can still damage walls and once mounted need several hours before the lamp could be installed.
