Love that Barbie. They should ditch the pets and add alternative clothes. But I think they should make all barbies movable.

The first series of Extra dolls did have a curvy: the Asian with the iridescent dress. It’s harder to tell with the clothing, though. Oh, yes, and the one with the blue hair too.

They should ditch the pets the plastic purse and possibly the plastic Jewelry and the plastic asscories and the green fuzzy things to put in the budget a for 2nd outfit or to just make the dolls at a lower price to get rid of the pointless panic iteams that'll just come off and get lost not to long into opening the doll and playing with the doll

The only problem my mother had with doll collecting (we both did it together! Ever after high) was the cost. She was happy we had something to do together, but the back to back releases killed us when it came to the price. Each doll being about 25 bucks at the time would add up fast. I still love collecting dolls though. I pick up ever after high when I can find it online and now I collect rainbow high ( as a senior in college!). I'm confident about it and my boyfriend thinks they are cool too (he's too scared to touch them though since he doesn't want to break them but yet he looks at them when he's over!) Oh! My friends and school mates find them interesting too! Can't wait to keep collecting forever!

I am 13 and I still PLAY and collect dolls and I love it!! I still use my imagination to make cool story’s and all that and I love doing it so I love that you are an adult and still collect dolls and it gives me hope that I can still collect dolls when I get older too!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ love you Melissa!!

This is kind of salty but honestly I’m really tired of the pets with every Barbie set. Particularly the spa and airplane and grocery store sets etc. it normalizes pets being in these places where pets do not belong, and that’s not a great behavior to model for kids. Give a couple of Barbies service dogs. Include pets in sets like the house set and bedroom sets and dog park sets and backyard barbecue sets, dog and cat grooming sets. There are so many places that pets belong! Pets are wonderful, they’re fun and imaginative, but keep them in sets that take place in pet friendly places. So many people with service dogs struggle to do daily life activities because of pets in places like salons and doctors offices and grocery stores. Let’s not add pets as accessories to places that they don’t belong. We have a wheelchair Barbie, can we have a service dog set? And seriously, pets don’t need to be in every set.

I played with dolls long through high school. I still play with dolls in my 30s. I decided when to get rid of the dolls in my life and that was more because i moved a lot and had to let things go not because i was too old for them. But now I'm slowly getting dolls again and I don't care what is said. My mom didn't mind going down the toy aisle with me in target last month and helping me pick out a doll and clothes. My dad doesn't care to spend $5-10 on a doll at the thrift store for me. They know my deal. I'm a big kid and I never want to grow up.

This doll is the 3rd curvy girl for the Extra line :) I actually love these kinds of outfits, but I understand many people don't xD

The little dolls are so adorable, reading the comments, I've found them on Aliexpress, too, omg, so many cute dolls in different sizes, and the clothes are amazing! (and I don't even collect dolls, but I think, I need some of those).

I agree that the pets do not go with these dolls at all. I don't mind pets in general, but these mostly look so cheap and boring, and they don't match the dolls' style and proportions. The only one I love is the unicorn pig. If all pets were like this, they would be cool as stand-alone figurines (the pig is proudly displayed on one of my doll shelves). But most of them are blah. The dolls however are great, can't wait for Wave 2 to go on sale in our stores. And yeah, thank you for the review, you always bring smile to my face 😊

Barbie Extra line is the reason why I became a doll collector last year. They are really beautiful, the fashion is good and I love this type of articulation. I actually hate the MTM body, this one is perfect. Yeah, I don't really care for pets and would love a 2nd outfit, but the pets aren't ugly so...

the face mold is so cute but i agree with you, the fashion/colors/accessories are just not well-coordinated and quite dull. I will be getting her, though. I love the pets 😊 i don't have all the extra dolls but have swapped around and have all the pets! 😻

The furry yellow wrap looks bad, in my opinion, but at least it’s easy to find if you misplace it. The doll itself is cute; that Carnaval head sculpt looks both sweet and sassy. I don’t like the pets (or, I would rather have better clothes and accessories), but I can see it adds to play options for kids.

I don't collect Barbies any more, I watch because I enjoy your sense of humor, your sparkling personality, your exciting, sometimes even adventurous, "unprofessional" presentations, and especially your concern about how people are treated and how our earth is treated. I love the pets🥰 keep in mind that some parents will not allow pets in the house so I believe this gives kids the chance to play with the pets and create a fantasy world with pets 🥰

Cool doll review! I like this doll. But now I’m worried about those plastic pants. The fabric that can stain doll body is not a good news. 🤨 But maybe soaking it in water or soap might prevent staining. I like Star Trek and Star Wars. Q is very cool character! I love dramatic characters and trickster characters and he’s pretty much both. 🤣

The first doll, look similar to BJD (BallJointedDoll maybe fairyland or Latee ),but from Amazon it´s not original. I collect these dolls and recast(replicas) dolls are a very hot topic. Edit: I can recommend the channel from "Muñecas, Poupees, and Dolls" She collect BJD and in a video her explain why recast is bad.

I actually got a fashion friends doll a couple of weeks ago! :D I didn't even know they were called that at the time. I just thought they were AliExpress dolls, since that's where I've mostly seen them. The best part is that she was only about 3 dollars! Which might mean that i got a fake one..? But other that the fact that her hair is sparsely rooted and the clothes are not really high quality, her face is exactly the same as your doll. Which is why I fell in love with them in the first place so I don't really mind for the price :⁷

Yep, anti- big head ... me too. Not just Rainbow High and LOL OMG, although I love their fuller figure and some of the clothing styles. But also eighteen inch dolls ( with these, not just the big heads I hate the soft bodies as well ), Na Na Na, and worse yet Blythe and Pullip dolls. I also don't like the Anime/Manga aesthetic ... yet I have a Smart Doll. Go Figure. As far as the Barbie Extras? Trashy and bad taste, in my opinion. Some of the individual clothing pieces I like. I love the high- heel Timberland boots on the #5, and the baseball jacket on the #4.

The dolls at the beginning or no brand dolls in Korea. You can buy them anywhere from under $5 to like $40 as the price really depends on the accessories they come with. They actually sell them at the dollar store and Toys “R” Us.

I found the BTW at Walmart and they sold it to me so I dunno. I know some stores are different but yeah heads up they might come earlier

Hi Melissa I don't colloct babie but when I was little I played with them and then I played with bratz dolls also the coolest thing was the bratz feet coming off I'd sit and take their feet off and switch their feet/shoes I'd even to mix match shoes and I'd put the wrong foot/shoe con my bratz dolls I colloct and play with American Girl dolls they don't have any snap joints or anything fancy like that but I love them so much. I love dressing them and brushing and doing their hair

Two of the dolls were curvy in the first wave. Asian girl and blue hair black/Latino girl.

I am so bumbed. The doll looks great. But i can not find the first wave girl with the dream necklace and the cute fishnets with the iridescent dress.

The blue curly hair girl and the rainbow hair one are from the first wave. There's two other doll coming later from the wave 2 that is the cheetah print hair girl and a pink braids one.

They are 5, but the ones with azure-colored hair and the braided one are from the "second half" of the first wave. The other two of this wave are with pink hair and brown long hair. I don't know why they put the "old" ones on the box. Great discourse about "being too old for dolls", luckily my mom isn't that type of person (I'm 42). In the first wave there are two curvy dolls, number 2 and 4. OMG that "fur" is way too much XD, and the color...in my opinion they are way too "extra". I think that I'm going to take the lilac-haired one, but I'm definitely changing her outfit.

The little doll..ive seen all over Ali. Def from China. Not sure if knock off, not all dolls from China are because they have their own brands too. Some of the more pricy ones I've bought from there are just Asian brands we don't know.

Difference between OMG, Rainbow High, and Barbie Extra. OMG all have the same face sculpt and their bend and snap legs don't bend and snap very well. Rainbow High dolls all have the same face sculpt and don't have very much diversity. Barbie Extra, posability, different face sculpts, diversity.

The pet thing I've seen on a lot of Chinese dolls I wonder if they took it from that.
