Honestly I had kind of a love hate relationship with this channel. I was in late elementary school early middle school. Not only was I becoming an “older kid” but also as a male I felt so shameful of watching this channel and wanting dolls . But now as an 18 year old, who finally decided to live his truth and collect dolls for myself, I’m really lucky for this channel for giving me the edge to do that.

My guess is that the companies don’t send you the dolls because you give an actual critical review. The other KZfaqrs that I see who receive these dolls for free typically just gush about the product even when it’s garbage. I appreciate your honesty even more because I know it is costing you in this way.

Melissa, I started watching you and Kaiden when my older daughter was about 3, and I’ve never stopped. She had just gotten into watching toy review videos, and she introduced me to your channel. When my second came along and was old enough to like KZfaq she joined in too. They’re 10 and 6 now. My 6 year old will still watch with me, but I will watch you even if I’m alone. You have made such a positive impact on me. I’m an adult doll lover, but I also watch for your personality. I feel like I’m hanging out with a friend. Your videos and openness have helped me get through some rough times when I’ve struggled with mental health issues. I’ve cried with you when you’ve shared about your own, and I always laugh with you. I could be having a really hard time and watching your videos will calm me down and bring me joy. And I’m old enough to get your jokes when you say “who’s old enough to remember...” 😎 I cannot thank you enough for all you have done by being a positive, safe place on KZfaq for the kids who grew up with your channel (especially kids in the LGBTQIA+ community) and people like me, adults who will never be too old for dolls. I feel like if we knew each other in real life, we’d be friends. Congratulations on 9 years!!! 🎉

No thank you for everything! My mom also has MS so seeing another kid and with there mom who also had MS ment alot to me. I have pictures of myself from 2015 watching your old videos! You both truly made an impact on my childhood that I will never forget! It definitely is bittersweet since the channel isnt what it used to be, but I still enjoy sitting down after a long day and listening to you talk about dolls! You made my love for monster high grow, the thing that made me a doll collector, and introduced me to rainbow high, the thing that got me back into doll collecting. This channel will always have a special place in my heart and I cant wait to see what the futer holds!

What I love about you is your honesty, there are some other KZfaqrs who I am sure do not believe what they are saying when some of what they are reviewing are not great. You on the other hand point out the positives but also do not hide your disappointment in something. You I trust and that is why I subscribe to you and not some of the other ones. Never change and I have fond memories of an episode when some woman texted Kaiden some random comment and it all went off from there. I've been watching you since around 2013, i was still a young little gay kid still figuring out who i was but collecting dolls and watching doll review channels was a form of escape from reality for me. My mom and i would watch your videos with Kaiden everyday!! Now i'm a 22 yr old trans woman and happy to say i'm still here. I still collect dolls and non-doll related toys but i no longer showcase them on my doll photography account. I feel for you and Kaiden as someone who is also trans and as well as having some health issues. And i hope he's doing well today, a lot of people including myself miss him so much and we hope we get to see him again someday but for now, we're just happy to know he's doing alright! I can’t believe I been watching you for so long. I been here since 2013! I was just starting middle school and dolls wasn’t “cool” anymore but I didn’t care 😂 that was the year I was really getting into doll videos it started with my froggy stuff and chad Allen and then I found you and Kaiden! I was so happy because it was a mom and kid duo something I wanted me and my mom to be. I was mainly an ag collector but I always wanted monster high dolls (unfortunately that didn’t happen ☹️) by 7th grade my mom wanted me to grow out of dolls and do whatever she thought 7th graders did 😂 BUTTT here I am 19 years old going to college got myself a job for my doll addiction 😂 my mom is very back and forth about me having dolls because she still wanted me to “grow up” but on the other hand she sees how much they make me happy. Sorry for the paragraph but I wanted to just finish off this by saying I love your videos and your commentary and just you being you! ❤️
