I remember as a kid being fascinated with things like crutches, eye-glasses, wheelchairs, casts, walkers, leg-braces, and so on. I think this will give so much fun to children, and really helps open children's minds to "disabilities"! PROGRESS!

My daughter really wants these...It’s amazing that they made these to include the girls... agreed boys should be next 🙂

I hope that they make a line of kens with disabilities like how they did with the Barbies. So in the future more girls and boys can see themselves represented

I think it is good they chose Barbie to put in the wheelchair as she is popular so hopefully more people will buy the doll. She has had a million jobs she would not have had the time to study, get qualified & train for, so an AU disabled Barbie isn't that crazy.

How disappointing they go to all the trouble to give us a Barbie with a prosthetic leg THAT HAS A KNEE THAT DOESN'T BEND. How stupid!! What FUN is it to explore and play with a prosthetic leg that doesn't even work at the bare minimum like a real prosthetic leg!! They should have just given her the old pirate's wooden leg!

They should have made the one foot the same as the prosthesis.. The doll has a nice face and hair. I wish all fashionistas had earrings. The wheelchair seems well done and nice job including a ramp. Good for Mattel making these dolls! My favorite of the new line is the redhead. Some of them I will need to see in person before I buy. Great video as always!

They didn’t give her a high quality chair for a hospital visit. They gave her a wheelchair to make kids with permanent disabilities feel included and see themselves represented. As someone with permanent disabilities and a fan of Barbie, this means the world to me.

I used to have a Share-a-Smile Becky doll from the Mattel Toy Company. She's Barbie's physically handicapped friend who sits in a wheelchair because she's paralyzed from the waist down. She's also Toys R Us's exclusive doll to actually say the very least.

i went to see the Barbie movie last week and i saw the wheelchair Barbie and i couldn't help but smile, i remember when i was little i always wondered why there wasn't any Barbie's (or kens) in a wheelchair or had prosthetic limbs, and so when i went to google images see if they made a new wheelchair Barbie from the movie (they didn't, which to be fair she was only mentioned like 2 times) but i seen all the other Barbie's (one was a down syndrome Barbie, there was a few different wheel chair Barbie's, some had vertigo, and there was many more) and i started crying, im happy that they started getting the attention and inclusivity that Barbie is about. which i don't know how long they have been making these dolls but as i said im so happy that they are making them

The last part with your mimime was awesome, I had a lot of fun watching it xD I got the prosthetics leg gal, but gave the body to another barbie head and gave her a shorter top and skirt, and the leg appears much better now, I love it. Now I'm looking for the mtm in the wheel chair with more decent prices (they are much pricier here in Brazil), but I'm super happy to see how the barbie lines are evolving. There are so much more interesting faces and colors now (not just skintones but clothes too). And my, I'm in love with the new boys, so much better than we ever saw before ♡

This is just wonderful for kids with disabilities. Barbie in the wheelchair can represent, anything,someone that's paraplegic or has Cerebal Palsy in her legs.The imagination is endless along with the Barbie with the prosthetic leg.I have mild Cerebral Palsy on the right side of my body.I wished Mattel would have did this when I was a kid in the 70's.😀I will have to go and collect them.They are beautiful. Yea Mattel !!

I'm excited to get the prosthetic leg one to show Little Button because she's currently obsessed with sharks and I can already imagine the "shark bit off leg" role play that's going to happen lol

Cool toy, I just detest velcro fasteners. I've bought barbie clothes that didn't have velcro fasteners, and I think that mattel can accomplish making better quality clothing for their dolls if they just put the effort into it.

My friend has a prosthetic leg with her real foot at the end! JUST KIDDING!! How weird they did that! Ha ha! I like the wheelchair - that would be fun for play - I wish they had leg and foot casts we could play with too! Sometimes a person will be in a wheelchair after delivering a baby, or if they are mentally ill.
