Barbie's amazing and inspiring story demonstrates if you want it bad enough and can see it...and DO something about it... it WILL happen...not easily and not without some blood, sweat and tears.... there is a saying that is something I say to myself frequently "if it was easy everyone would be doing it"

Very inspiring story. I am retiring from the fire department and want to pursue arts and crafts. I have an inexpensive mig welder that I'm learning on. for brazing and small welds would suggest gas or tig. It would be for small things like trees with branches and small wire etc. Also, I noticed that at one time you were using the Vulcan by HF. how was did it work and any other suggestions. Keep it up, never quite hold on for your blessing.

This is awesome. Barbie is an amazing person. I am looking to connect with female welders as I am a high school welding instructor and see the need for more diversity in the welding profession. Also - The school where I teach is building a new welding lab. I would like to make sure the space is inviting and welcoming to the female high school students. Do you have any recommendations for ways I can make the welding lab and program more inviting?
