Ottimo attaccante, dotato di grande tecnica. Roma e Napoli conserveranno sempre bei ricordi di lui. L'unico neo è che a Napoli capitò in un momento in cui la squadra non era più competitiva come qualche anno prima

Purtroppo fu un po' discontinuo e fuori dal campo aveva un caratteraccio, ma è comunque riuscito ad essere decisivo in tantissime situazioni. Napoli e Roma avranno sempre bei ricordi di lui; tra l'altro a Napoli capitò anche in un momento particolare in cui la squadra si stava ridimensionando dopo l'addio di Maradona e lui in pratica riuscì a mantenere la squadra, tra alti e bassi, in buone posizioni di classifica
