We previously filmed with TikTokers Cheryl, 61, and Quran, 24, from Rome, Georgia, back in 2021 when their huge age gap made headlines worldwide. Since then a lot has happened - in July 2021 Quran proposed, using a ring crowdfunded by his TikTok fans. The couple officially tied the knot in September of the same year in a romantic, riverside ceremony in Tennessee - which they livestreamed to an audience of over 20,000. The online judgment about their age gap is intense, but Quran and his new wife are determined not to let it overshadow their relationship. The pair are now eager to take the next step and begin a family, either by adopting or using a surrogate - and Cheryl’s grandchildren already call Quran “papaw”. In this episode we hear from the happy couple about married life, see them going out to browse baby clothes and hear from Cheryl’s adult daughter Ashlee about how she feels about the prospect of a baby brother.

@@The_Original_Man it depends. I’ve personally always been attracted to older men (not more then 20 years older then me) I genuinely just don’t feel attracted to men my age or younger. That being said I’m also an adult though. So I feel if both people are adults (being barely 18 does not count as an adult in my eyes) then it’s unconventional but not wrong. (Assuming no one is being taken advantage of)

I’m just wondering what happened during Quran’s childhood to have this kind of bonding now. Having a child at an advanced age will lead to the child losing a parent at a young age. Even if they have their family and their other parent, it's inevitably going to affect the child and the surviving spouse. Even if the parent lives to see the kid graduate high school and even college, the loss of a parent in young adulthood is a rough thing to put your kid through. That's not even mentioning the inevitable decline of the older parent's health over time. Seeing a person lose their independence and ableness at a young age is pretty terrifying, especially when it's your parent. I can speak from personal experience on this; it's s heartbreaking to see a parent nearing the end of their life while you're barely an adult yourself. This is their choice to make, but I can't help but think that they are ignoring issues this will cause for the child down the road. A lot of people decide that they want a child, but not all of them truly consider if they should. Is this more for you or the potential child? Edit: Yes, illness and death aren't limited to the old, you can lose a parent at anytime. But most people don't have kids knowing that they probably won't live to see their kid turn 25. When you're in your eighties when your kid finishes college... do the math.

The probability of a healthy young mother diying is always less than an overly aged and old mother. There is no logic in your comment. Anything can happen anytime but we are talking about things that are in our control. A young mother can provide and live with her child much longer than an old one. She can play with her child , have fun. But an old one can't do all that . And the loss of a mother is extremely hard for a child. Thats why people dont have kids at such an old age. They can enjoy their lives and live as a couple , but dont be selfish and have a child without thinking of the outcomes

Idc if this is a “love story” She groomed him, there is so much evidence. He is a victim and should seek help. She was his bosses mother when he was 16, she clearly groomed him, even if he is now a consenting adult she was a person of authority over him and she took advantage of that. Its messed up as hell that so many people are defending there relationship as “love”. Also, they got married when he turned 18 which further proves her predatory actions. She waited until he was an adult to openly be with him which is a grooming method. I don’t care that much about age gaps, but if you are freshly 18 dating someone who’s been an adult longer than you’ve been alive, that’s grooming. Look, when he’s 45 she’ll be in her 80s. My grandparents had a 17 year age difference between them and remained together until my grandfather passed at age 97. Statistically the younger partner tends to stray especially if they met at age 15.. which is another story in itself. He hasn’t had a chance to live life yet and unfortunately for her, the second he becomes attracted to a girl closer to his age he’s going to realize what he’s been missing. I also believe there are psychological reason why a 15 year old would be attracted to someone who could be his grandma/great grandma! Mommy issues perhaps? 🤷🏻♀️
