The first woman is still so gorgeous My heart broke for her ..those pictures look so painful, like it’s beyond acne..it resembled burns She’s so strong. Digging deep is something every person has to do, at least once in their lives. We all have different reasons for it, but it’s necessary for growth and more often than not, is the result of great pain. She’s blossoming into a beautiful, well rounded person, who truly loves and believes in herself. As horrible as her skin condition is, like many other horrible things that can happen to someone, it birthed a better version, in many ways, of life than what was being lived previously.

I went through serious acne too for a couple years, the thing that kept me unbothered was that the Pre-k children I taught, never treated me different or even pointed it out the fact that I had such bad acne and didn’t wear makeup to cover it. I could have been over 6 foot and covered in tattoos, the kids wouldn’t care… and I love that. 🥰

You're all gorgeous, this is an important video. I went off the birth control pill after 6 years, and suddenly I was allergic to gluten. It caused painful cystic acne, especially under the cheekbone and under the jaw. After I quit gluten, including barley and contaminated oats, it cleared up 100% SO I quit dairy too, and I no longer had wrinkles even! I was 34 when it all started, now I'm 52 and strangers compliment my skin

Kirt with DRESS Syndrome what a traumatic transformation. It's great to see that you overcame this and became stronger. You're beautiful inside and out. Hi Karen. 👋 I'm at the part of your story where you revealed you moved interstate, allowing you the 'freedom' to not see those you love and those who love you. That absolutely broke my heart for you and your family and friends. I don't know what you are yet to reveal, but I want to scream from the roof top that you are courageous, gentle and amazing. I can only begin to imagine the number of tears that have fallen, and the pain you have endured. But despite this, I see a beautiful young woman before me, sharing her life with others, her struggles, and when I press play again, hopefully her further victories. Karen, I wish you nothing but happiness, strength when you need it and help from the Drs/ dermatologists to bring you complete inner peace. ❤ 🌹

This is nice to see. I had great skin until I reached the 8th grade back in 2003. Out of nowhere my face burst out with all these pimples and I later found out I had mild acne. The acne was mostly on my cheeks. I was so embarrassed that I would try my best to hide my face but this didn't help as I was still made fun of. Even people I thought were my friends made fun of me and this only made me feel worse. When I got to the 10th grade I finally got help from a doctor and within two years my acne was gone. Today I am acne free and luckily I didn't pick at my face when I had acne so I have no scares. I built back my confidence and feel great. Oh and those people I thought were friends... Well I cut them out of my life forever and when I bump into them I simply make as if they don't exist.

I have terrible cystic acne. It has really exploded this last year. Nothing has really changed. I also take injections for Psoriasis. Cystic acne is so painful, people who haven't dealt with it don't know that it's an actual illness. It's not hygiene related. I've been taking antibiotics, and hormones blockers which have helped. I also have melasma all over my face, and now am developing the dreaded melasma mustache. But I own it now. I don't like wearing makeup, and only do so when I go to events. As long as my hair is done then I feel alright 😊

she needs medical treatment and maybe accutane. Antibiotics, diet and topic medications probably won't be enough for her type of acne. If she doesn't want treatmente it's ok, but she will have many scars.
