Great video and we’re in Bardstown right now. On the round about topic…imagine going through it with a 36’ camper in the middle of a town festival! That was crazy! And we’re loving Bardstown right now.

Kresso is very popular in Bardstown especially holiday season. Many company would like to have Christmas Dinner at Kresso since they have beautiful theaters…. In the winter, there isn’t much things but downtown is very pretty for the decoration. Mammy’s, The Grill, BJs… please enjoy then when you visit next time :-)

We went for the 1st time last year for the Bourbon Festival that's held every year in September. We stayed at the Distill Inn which is 10 mins from downtown. They also have a local car service that was wonderful. We love it!

The roundabout was like that since I was kid. They changed it all last year and They’ve even added one in front of St. Joseph’s Basilica. All is well.

I grew up in Bardstown way back in the 70's, I don't remember any movie theater that Kresso's would have taken over. Maybe that happened after I left in the early 80's.

I don’t know the date it was taken over, but they have taken over it. It was very interesting to go into the back room and see the theater turned banquet hall.

Thank you for this simple yet information video. I might be in Bardstown for a day in a few months. However, I'm not going to be having a car. Does bardstown have a good Uber / Lyft coverage? Are there any other options to get around the town and the distilleries?

We didn't use ride shares so can't say. But you can book distillery bus tours that will take you around. Hope that helps. Safe travels

So the downturn closes at 4:00/5:00 and is closed on Sundays? That’s some rather limited hours.

Yea, it's a small town, with small town hours. The restaurants and bars are open later.

We were not with the military. We lived in a small town called Ebenhausen, which was about 20 km south of Munich.

Nope the restaurants And bars are open. It's just mainly the Main Street shops that close down.
