Your story about the line wrapping around the prop....we just spent 2 weeks sailing the whitsundays. We moored in the channel between whitsunday and hook islands. Boat next to us got the mooring line wrapped around the prop....well, the prop was inside the the mooring line! Took 3 of us 2 hrs to sort, in the end we had to cut the mooring line, whats worse is now they were floating towards our yacht with no sails up and no motor!! Took another hr, we finally got them on to a mooring by using 2 tenders (6hp each) to tow (by hand!) this 10 tonne yacht onto a mooring! Sorry to hijack, but was one hell of a day. Awesome video though! Youre living the dream!!

Hi mark (: thanks for watching! It depends on the boat your hiring and it works out cheaper obviously if you go with others as then you can split the costs 👍 if you just head over to whitsunday escapes they give you a range of prices depending on the boat you are interested in hiring 👍

@@elnick.adventures Awesome, I wasn't sure how long after your trips, you managed to upload. Did you have any issues with jellyfish? We'll be leaving from the same marina as your charter , so likely will visit similar places
