Hi guys. Peter Here. My wife and I stumbled across your adventures while looking at youtube for ideas as we have just re-entered the caravaning lifestyle by purchasing our new to us van. Thank you for taking us back to Kalgoorlie as we lived there for almost 23 years and had 3 kids all born in Kalgoorlie. We now live in the southwest near Bunbury. At the time, my old job took me all throughout the goldfields while my wife stayed at home. And I have seen many beautiful sunrises and sunsets. One of the things I promised my wife was to take her on a round trip of all the places I've been. We can do that now. We have enjoyed your travels very much. Cheers.

Hi Just a couple questions Do you also have health and ambulance cover when travelling full time? And do you have any extra costs from back home whether it be a business/house/other cars that you have to pay monthly fees for also? Just interested to know if that changes your budgeting as well. Love watching your crew very entertaining and honest travelling

What about the actual purchase cost of your rig. Looks expensive. That would a real expense and allowing for depreciation.
@katherineporter2654Күн бұрын
I think you need to register your van in VIC we pay $60 for the year 🫢 I have heard we are the cheapest state in Australia. You do well to spend $500 a month for groceries for a family of five. Great vid as always

Your saviour is being able to free camp a lot, but in saying that, the choices you make are keeping you in the app. $1000.00 a wk bidget as other youtubers have said is a decent guideline and also while we were on the road for 4 mths we used that guideline - 2 adults and 2 dogs and no free camping. Sounds like somewhere near where I have been and might go again-but your stop didn’t look great. Where was it? FYI middle rock camp ground next to the beach is nice and in the same region.

Thanks for an honest breakdown of your costs … the question everyone wants to is how do you fund this? We are a lot older than your gorgeous family of 5 and plan to hit the road full time with investment properties to assist our expenses… if we can do this sooner with any tips, we would be very interested to know! 😊😊😊

So we have investments too which have helped, KZfaq pays a small portion of our costs and we just work when we need too (: Hope to see you out there one day (:
