The "orb" orign story at 11:05 may not be the actual origin of the "orb" meme. I found the smbw agdq run mentioned in the story (this one kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qJ2edqmbv7aWmHk.html which is from 2013, not 2014) where Duckfist falls asleep during the run and wakes up at the orb at 1:35:50 , but he wakes up because everyone keeps yelling "orb". So yelling "orb" at the orb was a thing before that episode, which means that the true origin of "orb" must be another one.
