I have said this before, It is always great to see Greg from P1 and Steveo, Baron pilot and flight chops and Mr. Aviation fly together from time to time. This is one my favorite videos. Live in central Florida but I've been to that airport diner, excellent atmosphere and food. The interaction between you and Josh is spot on, agree with all of it. Safety first, the rest will follow. Both of your personalities showed through. Two fellows pilots enjoying flying time, doesn't get much better than that. Thanks Kris for bringing us along for the ride. Time well spent !

I started watching this flight over on MrAviation101's channel, and I popped over to here to watch the return (I have subscribed to you by the way), and you started talking about Walt Fricke in his Aircam. I paused this video and went looking for that one before I forgot about it. It was absolutely fantastic. I really enjoyed it. I agree... it is one of the better videos and should be viewed more. Thanks for the treat. Brings back memories of flying with my buddies over rural Osceola County.

33:18, at the moment it's just "negative contact", "looking for traffic", unless one is TCAS equipped with RA. Examiner was cool discussing it. I heard the ADS-B "In/Out" TIS-B conversation in the past, but until NextGen Jan 2020 kicks in, ATC needs to confirm if the pilot sees with his peepers in order to avoid a potential conflict. Anyway, wing-rockin' colab, BP!

Kris, I really enjoyed the AirCam video, it was different than what I'm used to seeing from you. Lots of fun there.A I REALLY enjoyed this video, because it kind of gives you a glimpse into what the cockpit is like with two pilots. Kind of like when you and Greg were flying together back from the races. I'm kind of surprised that Lucy wasn't mentioned, but that's okay. I was fortunate enough to fly with my Dad, he was my instructor. But, that was back in the mid to late 70's. Which brings me to my next point, "back when *I* was flyin', we didn't have no steekin' GPS, ADS-B, Mode-S and controllers wouldn't talk to ya unless you was a 737 or bigga!" I am so thankful for the tech that's available in the cockpit today. With the advent of ADS-B, it really is going to make accidents or incidents of near mid-airs a lot less likely to happen. I just was looking on Dynon's website last night, and it looks like they're pushing back the certification of the Baron in favor of more single engine installs, including the PA-28 and the Bonanza. I can see that, from the point of view of best return on the dollar, but I'd really like to see their tech showing up in twins. Josh, speaking of which, you said you're interested in the G5s and a GFC-500. SInce the STC for the Skyview HDX is now out for the Skyhawks, have you and your Dad considered that? You would need to pull the GTX-345 out, since Garmin encrypts their data, but you should be able to sell it. Still single display with a D10A backup, digital Engine Management, Autopilot, charting, SVT, ADS-B In and Out via the Dynon transponder for about $20K? A lot of bang for your buck, no doubt. Guys, I really enjoyed this video, kind of felt like I was sitting the back seat! Thanks for taking us all along! :)

ATC in Australia encourage VFR flight following :)

Hihi you're wrong Steeve, I loved the Aircam video ;)

I had mode C transponder in my glider and would contact ATC for flight following and inbound, outbound traffic while soaring south of KLAS. Makes a huge difference in safety when airlines are thick as flies and I would and could be anywhere between 2000 to 17,999 MSL.

Loved the AirCam episode. Great pilot but now I'm really interested in the AirCam itself.

Hey BP love your work. I once saw you use what appeared to be a template on your ipad to scribble your VFR clearance. Can you please tell me what APP your were using to write down your clearance as it appeared to have a proforma set up and you just filled in the boxes

Great video. I haven't been in or flown a Skyhawk in a very long time. I think I paid $30 or $40 an hour to rent it lol. I just pulled up FlightRadar24 and the number of aircraft in the air at 11PM is amazing. IFR for the win...

Great video! Love the camaraderie associated with aviation. I am used to flying at higher speeds so it was an adjustment for a 172! I watched a new video posted by steveo where he is flying to Key West in a New Baron. I probably should not be saying this to you. Steveo is PIC in the video. He handled the Baron very well although he is not accustomed to flying twins. You would love the New Baron. I don't want to give you any ideas! Take care and always have a safe flight!

Ain't nothin like a Certified *bleep* Idiot! Years ago when I was flying, my first intro to twins was a friend whose dad had a really nice B58 Baron. Loved that machine. My first use of color radar! Also had a friend with a Debonair (Bonanza) that was SUPER stable. Loved to fly that bird.

Come out to West Texas and you'll see some higher altitudes. Lubbock is 3,280'

Hey Chris! Did u ever find out why the engine quit in your training aircraft on rollout after landing on the day your instructor first intended to solo you? Super curious. 😎

This is hilarious to watch. Their flight is in severe clear, and your radio responses were always "we do not have the traffic in sight" That's because you guys were yapping about everything else, other than the safety of that flight. And the PIC needs to develop and use an IST of some type, and include the front and both sides, because I didn't notice one at all.

If you get out to the West coast sometime Northern Calif. you can maybe do a video with Jerry W. He is a character. He has a Cessna 414. nice bird.

Had to stop and write this when you said "you are the envy of many people". That is so true. I got my PPL in 2002 and was able to take my Grandfather flying. It was a goal of mine. He took me flying when I was 3 and 4 (1970-1971) years old in his C170. He was an inspiration to me and I am so greatfull I could take him up in a C172 and let him take the controls. He's still alive at 101 years old and I expect to see him in 4 days for Thanksgiving 2018. Thanks for the great videos. I love the crossover vids with both of you guys!

I have a question for you, would you or Steveo ever consider some kind of prize or gift from a drawing to ride along with you guys? I live in Venice Fl. I got a pilots license back in 2003 but have not flown much since 2005. I enoy the video's you guys do it's great seeing how much you enjoy aviation. Just an idea not sure if that's something you might consider, I'm a fan of you guys for sure. I also follow Steveo, Niko, MrAviation and Premier1 driver. Look forward to the next video! Jeff

Why not use a pair of binoculars to see the "traffic" Your passenger can be your lookout for you. Will that work?
