tell me now which is better spending over 50K to get that much people on a car and also making sure the stock running gear is not going to blow, so tailshaft, diff auto etc and then the cost of the car or buying say a VF GTS and spending the same and having a lot more power full stop but still have extra money to spend on running gear if required? Like the VF GTS that now has a 427 and harrop 2.650lt charger and just a 3,500 torque convertor, still stock tailshaft and diff. :) But also got to ver 850 HP at the rear wheels with just a stock supercharger cam and heads last time with tune. and still fastest VF GTS in Southern Hemisphere? also you have to compare apples with apples, i know the barra is the cheapest engine to work on to get extra power, but it will not last long at all, once you take it to the drags with basic mods and around 350 Kw at the rear wheels diff will go, auto will go tailshaft will go, just look at scotty's garbage taxi as a perfect example?

@@7071t6 Scotty's "garbage" taxi was a factory n/a fg, with n/a diff, n/a tailshaft and n/a 4 speed auto...... If you want to compare apples to apples atleast use an example with a factory turbo.

@@7071t6 I'd expect a vf gts to be better too, especially when it's costing that much more off the showroom floor. (64k for the fg f6, 74k for the vf gts with the lsa). Not denying the vf has a better drive train but it costs significantly more to replace when it breaks and costs you 10k extra at launch and with the current pricing a good 45k more in the second hand market... (pricing pulled from car sales)

Easy get 1000hp with a stock bottom end. NA engines are a favourite for taxi companies because they can clock over 1 million Ks and feel as tight as they were new.

Just putting bigger fuel pump and injector and a pod filter then a tune will give u lots of cheap power even a pod filter with a tune will ya can't just chuck a turbo on unless u do the stuff I just mentioned first

Look up zzperformance they have a few parts that work with the l36 3800. Supercharger is hard to do here in the states because we only got them fwd cars. But it has been done. Turbo is going to be custom job because there are none available that I know. I have a friend that but a volvo with a 3800 that he built his own turbo kit for. But that was all custom work. Just do some research and you'll be able to find what your looking for.

A dynos a dyno Budd

Usually hub dyno's are used for cars making 1200hp+ and all of these cars are way off that.

Last of the fpv 5.4 are 315km. Then they move on to the 5 liter supercharged fpv gs mid fg life span. So serious 2 fg. Full fledged fpv got the 335kw up from the gs
