if your into Long range shooting you have to make sure your barrel twist rate will be fast enough to shoot long range bullets. Before purchasing your rifle have a specific bullet picked before the purchasing process. If your barrel isn’t fast enough you will be limited to light bullets that will not help at all when it comes to the long range game. All aftermarket barrels will be labeled by your Smith. Buying factory is when you see the problem with manufacturers not labeling the twist. My guess is their reason is to cut down on prices and build times. I sold my .308 and was going to give my loaded ammo to my dad. He has a factory rifle that wasn’t labeled. We had to figure out his twist rate and that was the idea behind the video.
