Jamie Barrow setting the world record for the fastest speed for a snowboard towed by a vehicle. While waiting for the electric jet engines to charge for the record he was out there for (vimeo.com/86054588) he decided he would break another world record. Within about 5 minutes of coming up with the idea they attached a rope to the back of a car and set a speed of 111.8kph on the first and only run. He will be attempting it again with a proper tow rope and have more runs at it which will hopefully mean he will go much faster!

i know right i mean to say are you serious even people like me are working up to 70mph without assistance we just go up to the peak of mountains and go straight down avoiding any carving to pick up speed

@@kentheengineer592 Obviously I'm not talking about when he was going straight.... I'm talking about when he first lets go of the rope and starts to slow himself down.

I've speeds very close to that based on gravity only ,,,,I never thought that I was so close to any record...counting im not using any professional equipment and using regular snowboading jacket,witch is holding me back cuz it has a parachute effect when I hit high speeds,,,,I've hit 64mph ...actually I hit past 60 every time I go to snowboard and the weather is cold ...
