great video and a fantastic achievement. snowboarding on a bumpy thin strip of snow, that close to a concrete runway at 125kph while being pulled at an angle take balls! Congrats from all of us at snow.guide

125 km/h is about 67knots, very close to the PC-12s rotation speed of about 75 knots.

What a waste of Jet-A and turbine cycles. Still - I suppose the sponsors paid. As others have said - a decent car would have achieved the same thing. Actually it might have got more interesting if the plane did break ground. Then the wingtip vortices in the wake turbulence develop and he would have been spun like a top....... Which is probably why someone nixed it. He REALLY doesn't want to go ahead and "see if they will now let him do it with the plane flying". It is a whole different animal that can topple an aircraft trailing along behind.
