Bc barstool is actually smart they actually make content when people are all stuck in their houses doing nothing trying to find things to watch ....this should be a gold mine for content creators they should be pumping out more content then they ever have that's why companies like Netflix has seen their stock go through the roof....but 99 percent of content creators are lazy and have done absolutely nothing during this pandemic and they missed out on the opportunity of their lives to grow their brands bc hopefully no one alive right now sees another time like were in now

The thing is, it all started because the call her daddy girls WERE being underpaid. CHD had more listeners than ANY other barstool podcast, and their initial contracts did not reflect that. They understood that it was because when they signed they were not as big, but there was not enough of an adjustment as they got bigger. This is why the negotiations were started. The difference is, Alex stopped when she got a good deal. Sofia did not. It is also important to note Barstool was still making money from them in the rooftop deal. I think people also don't acknowledge that Alex and Sofia did not really fit in with the work culture at Barstool. Alex is an athlete and still didn't really fit in, but especially Sofia. It's really clear in their vlogs. Also, I don't know why Barstool forced it so much. Most CHD listeners are not Barstool listeners. One final thing, during "field day" Alex was chosen almost last. Even though she was a division 1 soccer player only a couple years prior and seems to still be in shape. Its like everyone assumed she was not athletic and hated sports.

All true but also keep in mind barstool bough CHD when it was a very small podcast so even tho Alex and Sophia are making tons of money for barstool that's how it goes. Barstool took a gamble and if the podcast went under they would be losing money. Their original contracts were fair at the time just out dated, then Sophia got greedy
