Greg Weisman confirmed that Eduardo is gay and dating "someone" and that Bart is also dating "someone", he's also stated one out of Bart, Wally, Dick, and Virgil is gay but that DC won't actually let them actually show it on screen. Especially combined with things like what you highlighted in this video, and I think its pretty obvious the people that Bart and Eduardo are dating are each other. DC is just homophobic and keeping the writer's hands tied.

You definitely found this gem of a ship, the creators of the show had said Eduardo was gay and datin someone and Bart was dating someone. But it can’t be said. Because of how well known and popular Bart is.

maybe they aren't fully dating yet, and that's why. i'm bi and have referred to the guys I've dated as "friend" or "bud" or "dude" before things got serious. i also noticed that when static says he feels like a seventh wheel, he kinda stutters like "fi- si- seventh wheel" as if he stopped himself from saying "fifth" or "sixth." so i have a feeling they're not like..... together together yet, but things are just starting out for them. hopefully season 4 can clarify.

By answering those questions about Bart and Ed and said he is not allowed to say it. But he can say Ed is gay and is dating someone. Other answers make it clearer Bart is the gay character which they are not allowed to confirm. But everyone knows And it shouldn't be a surprise since he was the one in s2 who was on an all female mission in bilaliya

Update I checked out barts comics. Its clear to see that he never actually had a sexual orientation. He had in some possible futures a girlfriend. But those are not really Canon. And I think one of the producers confirmed it last week's that he is indeed gay

They knew exactly they were doing with that frame, it was meant as more than a hug and the overall look they gave each other after. If they didn't want us to interpet it that way the animators would have drawn it as a portrait or side view, they made it quite conspicuous for all those that were truly paying attention. I was not paying attention.

They say who's gay and who's not. You can say they can just make original characters though they might not get any response due to some just seeing them as the "gay character". Of course that's solved if you make their stories interesting enough, lol in which they sometimes don't. Like there's new ones that just seem boring or ridiculous. I'm fine with them retooling another's sexuality if and only if they make it apart of their character like a self discovery journey or something. Or I'll come out of nowhere. The reality is the readers just want representation done the way they want it, not representation in general.
