The Bartesian Experience
It has been too long since many of us have enjoyed a vacation on our favourite cruise ship or vacation destination. With limits on travel, our minds often take us to our next great adventure. Until we travel again, we will hold on to our memories while building anticipation to our next destination. Often in travel, we share a drink and a laugh with our co-travellers excited to experience the journey. Many of us enjoy talking with the cruise ship staff at the bar about the drink of the day. We hope this video brings you back to a place of fondness or a simpler place in time.
The Bartesian, featured on the Dragon's Den TV show about four years ago, offers a simple solution. The Dragon's Den is a reality-based TV investment show that allows innovators to pitch their products or services to potential investors. Ryan Close and Bryan Fedorak asked for a $450,000 for 8% of their company. They were successful.
Several select retailers have featured the product; however, there has been a supply chain shortage to meet the past year's demand. While shopping at Costco in Leaside, Toronto, I was surprised to see the product featured this holiday season.
The Bartesian with thirty drink capsules was on sale for $459.99 at Costco.
Overall the simplicity and easy to make multiple cocktail types in minutes is a win. In Canada, the price point per disk is approx. $3.31 plus alcohol. Hopefully, as the product becomes more mainstream, the disc price will drop.
The machine works relatively easy; as they promote its as simple as 1-2-3. There have been moments when the machine's stream while formulating a drink was a bit messy, but it was effortless to serve up several cocktails. In the end, ease of use, time saved, and easy clean up allow us to give it a two thumbs up.
Many of the drinks we delivered with that bar quality experience we were seeking.
In our video, we will share the unboxing, the drink making and our review.
