@@sandradalton1611 Silly answer, it's like saying that a murderer who strangles his victims is not monstrous because some of them sodomise them too :D . He was *monstrous* , there must be even worse but I trust you, I won't check because I don't want to vomit my breakfast :O . And I disagree not for the sake of it but because if some easily available drugs bring about that *monstrous* disease it is important to know about it. Incidentally to become a bodybuilder you must be shallow, according much too much importance to your physical appearance...

Very sad for you Bruno. It's a terrible disease. I have it also. It started in my arms, they are now useless and I write with voice recognition. Fortunately, it did not move down into my body. And I am now probably the longest survivor in the world with this disease. 42 years since diagnosed. Stephen Hawking on his passing had the disease. Over 50 years. It is a frightening disease and a disease that you would not like anyone getting. Research seems to be too relaxed in chasing a remedy for this illness. Just something that would at least arrest it. Spending billions on going to planets, while the rest of us in our thousands, ponder the inevitable. Andy McGovern.

RIP Bruno. I understand that what was the situation at the time of diagnosis of such horrible and devastating desease and after. As my wife felt weakness in wrist firstly during May,2020 and felt weakness in leg, walking problem riding stairs. After consulting GP ,they could not detect the actual cause, but finally on 31.10.2020 neurologist declare after several test that it is anterior horn cell, which is not cruel. From that day our life suddenly changed.within three to four months she became fully dependent on other. For 2nd opinion went to a big hospital in South, there at my third visit IN APRIL,21 they declare that it is MND.They gave IVIG and one chemotherapy but no improvement.During last April she felt breathlessness, and speak and swallow problem. On 16th May,21 she felt headach and uncomfortable .Her sodium, potassium level down and wbc 14500,infected.Her oxygen level also low on 20.05.2021 and admitted in hospital. Finally she passed in hospital on 22.05.2021. Still I am in pain.why not cure of such a horrible desease.

Hat's off to Keith Fagg as well for his oh so valuable mission. Through this touching and inspiring film, Bruno can be celebrated by many people who never had the honour of knowing him in life.

Yes Bruno. I'm still alive. Celebrated my 88th birthday in February. Looking forward to getting the second vaccine for the virus next week. Wouldn't you think by now that they would have a vaccine for MND. The virus is not a terminal disease. MND is. And MND only affects one person in 40,000 per population? That's the dilemma. They are not particularly worried about the few that gets MND/ALS. :-( No surrender Andy ~.

MND is brutal! My friend's son Ian was diagnosed with MND after having an issue with his foot. He was a fit and healthy guy but within 8 months he was not able to move from his neck down and in the end was not able to swallow. It was a blessing when he died. A very cruel disease. I wonder how Bruno is doing as I look at the dates. Very moving to watch this.

I was diagnosed with MS in January 2011 so I understand what you're going through. Most of the DMD (disease modifying drugs) have side effects that are equal to or worse than the actual MS symptoms. My legs have become progressively weak and I dread that I'll most likely be dependant upon a wheelchair soon. Maybe not full time but at least while walking.

I’ve watched a lot of these MND stories. Here in the United States we call it ALS. But I’ve often notice majority of ppl who get this disease seem to be very athletic & in good shape. I mean you never hear anyone being unfit, or a smoker or a alcoholic. It’s always someone athletic,& who takes good care of their body. Is it just me, but should we just be lazy & unhealthy in order not to get this disease? Rest In Peace Bruno, my sincere condolences to you and your family.

Yes, Bruno. That's where I disagreed with Stephen Hawking. There is no point in finding black holes in space. The people who have got MND are living in a black hole. It annoyed me so much that Stephen could not divert his great brain and intellect into finding something to release the message in the brain to the neurons or migrate the message from the neurons to the muscles. That's MND. Nothing more and nothing less.
