Fire away with coherent questions in the comments and I'll answer them. Thanks for watching!

I get the "I do this job can I get in" question all the time. I tell them that they just need to contact a recruiter...the recruiters can answers all the questions and get the ball rolling very fast.

Lol yep pretty much the whole reason I made this vid hahaha, get questions all the time. I've found recruiters to be a little wishy-washy, they turnover/ change companies even more than us line unit guys LOL.

@@DJTheMetalheadMercenary they do turn over a lot, but they are still more up to date than a guy like me lol I’ve been out of that game since 2017

@@Asymmetrical.athlete_ When you can get ahold of one yeah lol, and ofc a lot of these people asking aren't on places like Linkedin either where the Recruiters are active.

@@DJTheMetalheadMercenary not too long ago I just called a company and asked for a recruiter and they transferred me to one. Make me wonder if some of these people have even tried to make a phone call.

I wish it was like regular security, apply and get hired and do on the job training, some do. What do you think chances are for having EMT/ paramedic level of training but not an EMT? Since I passed a DHS background check, including debt and other things, you think I shouldn’t have an issue with a DOS background check since they’re different?
@DJTheMetalheadMercenaryАй бұрын
You're going to have paid training with those companies/ contracts anyway ;) Hmmmm, I mean having all the certifications helps, but they still want the work background to an extent. I know you've been applying some so definitely keep on top of them and call open lines to talk to recruiters if need be. DOS vetting is still going to be different, since you have E-QIP done already and all that, the process will be quicker, but on the agency/ department side they're still going to do their thing with vetting. It is silly how compartmentalized that can all be, but that's how they do things.

Just signed a conditional offer for a WPS3 contract in Iraq. I cant fucking wait. Cant take it here anymore! Gonna pay off my car and little credit card debt and fuck off to Thailand or some shit. Also a 100% P&T Vet so I'm like fuck it. Thanks for all the info brother! Liked and suscribed

I was in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman for two years. Was with a Marine unit but not FMF qualified. Been out for 8 years and out of the medical field for 2. I tried to do some teaching contracts overseas but didn't seem like I had enough time in or skill, and no one (at the time) wanted an HM with no overseas time. With all the shit coming, do you think there'd be any contracts open for someone like me?
@DJTheMetalheadMercenaryАй бұрын
There are currently Medical service contracts with several companies right now that will take people with your background and credentials/ certs-- I would recommend getting all your licenses/ certs up to date first though before doing any applications. Look at Acuity International, Amentum, Global Medical Staffing, there's a bunch of listings on Indeed/ Ziprecruiter/ ADP, and ClearanceJobs.
