***NOTES-- READ:
- There are many techniques you can apply, this is just a baseline based off of my training and experiences-- backseat keyboard idiots who have never done this stuff in training or the real world can STFU.
- With the forearm crossover, you can also do a push and pin against a wall or vehicle and draw, MOH recipient Master Chief Ed Byers is a prime example of how it is effective, look up the rescue mission where he did this.
- The snap-button up shirt is from 5.11 Tactical, they are excellent.
- The "Collateral" movie reference of the technique is simply that-- an SAS-trained form of the technique that people have seen. While a great movie, it is only a movie, and these situations are never perfect-- they are very dynamic and dangerous.
- GET TRAINING, AND TRAIN REGULARLY. Cannot stress this enough, just watching a KZfaq video does NOT mean in any way you are prepared to defend yourself in a real world incident. This is also a major issue with CCW training in large and gap in teaching defensive techniques that are practical to what happens in the real world with assaults, robberies/ muggings, carjackings, etc..
Highly recommend these channels/ individuals and organizations to learn from and get training with:
- Gutter Fighting Secrets (my boy Will)
- Hard 2 Hurt
- Shivworks
- Bill Wolfe/ Wolfe's Combatives
- Tommy Moore/ Gutter Fighting & Bartitsu
- SECFOR International
