I've had these happen... I work as a HS umpire... runner on second 2 strikes.. pitch is behind the batter... the runner broke on first move.. catcher moves to catch the ball behind the batter except that it hits the bat... the catcher gloved the foul tip (strike 3.. out), and commences to throw down to third where he nails the runner.... Sometimes you just can't make these plays up...

Theirs going to be one person who when he gets hit in the helmet with the throw back to the pitcher he’s just going to fall down close his eyes and smile
