As someone who has pitched in baseball until about 35 years old and softball from 25 yrs old and still pitching at 53yrs old, skill has absolutely nothing to with 99% of these plays, it’s all about self defense!!

75% of these plays the runner is out for leaving the base path; some of these the runner deviates from a straight line and is therefor out of the base path, others the runner slides too far to the side of the base and therefor out of the base path

Mathew Lugo in AA is one of the most exciting players to watch in my opinion. He leads the team with 7 homers, has 22 rbi, 4 sb and batting .309 for the season. I have one of those homerun balls and it is autographed. Did I mention he is a great guy?

My dad was umping my middle school baseball team (I’m manager not a player, he was couch but we couldn’t get an ump) and ge didn’t have a helmet on only a baseball hat cause he won’t let any player on are team on the field to play if they don’t have a hat, but the ball hit him square in the forehead he hasn’t gone out with out a helmet since
