Honestly you can make the magnifying competitive like the example he used in the video, but that directs the conversation away from who is talking and back to you, which is not the takeaway she wants you to have from the things that she is proud to talk about. If she says she is going to the gym, say "Going for the big muscles or the 6 pack?". It keeps the conversation on her while also creating a flirtier vibe where it puts the idea on her head that you are referring to her while also indirectly you. This makes a much better outcome and lets a girl stroke her ego a bit.
