Got my wife the Synergee Open 15kg barbell and I was very impressed with the bar and it came just a Brandon said. Very well packaged, free wrist straps and wraps. Spins well and she loves the feel of it, so I'm looking at the Synergee Games Cerakote barbell for myself.

I am not a powerlifter but dabble in weightlifting and some CF. I enjoy the channel and nice review. I am always on the lookout for another good budget bar...as I am a cheap old man, so I will keep this in mind.

That end cap in the packaging is a great idea. I’ve had a few bars delivered with one end of the barbell poking out by the time it got to me.

Great video - just ordered the Synergee Regional Olympic Barbell all chrome - any thoughts on this model - seems super nice to me - nicer than some of the Rogues I've used - the bearings are super sweet!

Almost looks like an exact replica of my cerakote Ohio bar except this one has bearings. The packaging is very nice as well.

I've got the same bar. Ordered from Amazon. Definitely worth it I use it for all my lifts 4x a week and the sleeves still look new.

When my rogue barbell came the end cap had popped off and the bar had scrapped against my cement steps when they left it on the porch. I emailed rogue to complain and they said they would pass the message on to UPS

Hey Brandon!! I’m new to your content. I’ve been heavily studying your videos lately as I’m currently trying to piece together a home gym. I’m veryyyyy new to weight lifting. A complete beginner and I’m currently looking for a barbell. Like most beginners, I want something of quality that can last me a while until I become more experienced and comfortable lifting, but I also can’t break the bank as of now. Would you recommend this bar as a good beginner/starter bar? Or if not, could you recommend something else? If you’ve already done a video on this question, please refer me to it, as I could have missed it. Sorry to ask a question, that you could possible have already asked.

One of my bars have bearings, the sleeve really want to spin on bench presses! It works great on squats and deadlifts though. I could really use a cerakote bar out in my garage though.

definitely good packaging. mine had some weird rattling inside the bearings,... not smooth. Synergee didnt have good customer service and couldnt help me.

So torn. OK with whip, but no center knurl. Bearings, but grip doesn’t sound quite as aggressive. I actually prefer the smaller diameter bar too. That said, this seems like a pretty decent option. Will be checking if I qualify for free shipping. If so, I think I might be picking up one of these. Thanks for the review.

What do you think about their power lifting bar, (rhino)? Would you say getting a power bar for a beginner is a good idea as well? My main goals are powerlifting and bodybuilding, but I could see myself doing oly lifts every once in a while for fun. Would the synergee games bar be a better choice to do that?

More of a olympic lifting bar. Powerlifting bars tend to have center knurl and bushings. For stuff like deadlifts and bench having those super slick needle bearings can make the balance feel a bit funky. I actually have a bar built by a local company almost identical to this one minus the black coating on the sleeves and I use it for power lifting because I like 28mm and it was 220$. The only thing I still use my cheaper bar for is bench as I start to have issues with the balance once I hit 245. Wrapping the center portion with a thin layer of hockey tape really helped me with back squats and bar stability.

I’ve been looking at this bar and now that it’s in stock I’m considering the purchase. Really appreciate the review on this bar and all the others you’ve done on the channel bro. Years later, are you still happy with it...unless you’ve moved on from it.

Bought 2 different cerakote bars from local place. Both were chipping/flaking the paint soon after where the bar contacts the jcups. And have some corrosion starting. Are all cerakoted bars this fragile?

Brandon, what’s your go to deadlift jack? I just use a dead wedge in my home gym. I was going to get the rogue mini jack but you said once that when you jack up one side the other rolls away. That threw me off the buy.

what are the actual pros of a cerakote bar over a normal bar?
